Let's try to get this back on track...
Pierre Woods looking good at LB. Would love to see that continue.
Meriweather looking good so far - hope he's the DB version of Deion "right off the bat" Branch during his rookie year.
MY FAVORITE PART:
As has become a bit of a chorus from me, yet AGAIN this year the biggest potential development I can imagine is one of the young LB's taking a big step toward becoming a legit playmaker. Be it Woods (the likeliest candidate, in my view) or Alexander or Lua, if even ONE of these guys can make a big jump, that will be as important as anything I can think of, roster-development-wise.
Take a breath, keegs. We're trying to stay on track here. Any thoughts on, ya know, PLAYERS? Performance? Potential?
For the record, you'll note I quoted the post before the fight and I like Caldwell just fine.
Just happen to like Gaff and Woods' potential.
I'm ashamed to admit i know nothing about Pierre Woods but i've read only great things, but vague things.
I worked a lot on Sundays this past season and i honestly don't remember seeing him playing.
I wasn't able to watch every game but probably 12 of the regular season games and all the playoff games.
Yet i know nothing about Pierre.
Info please
whats the deal with this guy?
Yes i think i will brag. Hmmmm lets see here... let's just see.......
Coming soon.....
- I said the Refs are cheating/blowing calls on purpose and don't want the pats to win (see NBA)
- I said Gaffney is the better option than Caldwell.
The link you provide explains very well why he went undrafted. The link concludes:I'll never understand drafting college LBs.
This guy went undrafted why?

OK, come on, back to Pierre Woods now. Perhaps some of you have noticed that I never miss an opportunity to obsess about Pierre Woods? So reports like these have been my favorite tidbits from camp so far.
The Pats OLB position calls for an absolute freak of nature. Pierre is that rare bird -- 6' 5" 250 with the quickness and explosiveness of a defensive back. After watching him hustle on special teams, get named "practice player of the week" etc. last season, he's my player to watch this camp.
Gaffney Stays, Caldwell Goes.
LeKevin Dominates.
Everyone stays healthy.
As long as all that happens, ill be happy.

Draft Status:
As of right now, Woods sits as a 7th round to free agent value.
That's how he was seen, and that's what happened.
I saw that, yet his potential and combines were great.
The only real negatives was shedding blockers.
Teams like Michigan have tons of players and you can get lost in the crowd.
I seem to recall a QB that was drafted way low. Whatever happened to him?
Wasn't there some story about Woods, where he was a presumed eventual 1st rounder at Michigan, as a sophomore/Jr., and then he got into Carr's doghouse and stayed there for the rest of his time in school, and so dropped completely out of the draft after a mediocre Senior season? Or was that Mays and some other college?
