    #18 Jersey

It's nice to see that he's making a career for himself in the Arena league.

Well, we know which side to run when we play the cardinals.

I wonder if the Cards play the Giants in a pre-season game. Youtube needs another video of Monty..........

This tells me the Cardinals defense is the worst in the country.

Monty Beisel deserves a 2 year contract like Chris Canty deserves a franchise tag.

    What a hoot!
Did a spit-take thinking about Brandon Jacobs bearing down on the ol' Kansas steer-wrestling champion.

I thought Dennis Green was fired?

There must be some other horndog in their FO, then.

BTW, how many snaps on the regular D did Monty have? Were any of those snaps at OLB? He obviously doesn't have what it takes to play ILB. He may make a decent backup OLB, perhaps.

He may have what it takes to play MLB in a 4-3. Taking on guards vs. taking on the fullback is a pretty big difference.

He's a gamer that was just overmatched here in our 3-4. I don't think Whisenhunt is an idiot so Biesel's resigning seems to be a decent endorsement of his performance down there.

I thought MLB's had to tackle people?

They're both going to need it. Beisel stinks on ice.

I've seen Bruschi get run over a couple times...

Look, I don't want this thread to position itself where I somehow become Monty Beisel's lone champion. Just saying he was ill-suited for our system, and he's well suited for theirs. He's a great backup MLB for them. A souped-up Larry Izzo.

    Beisel's not a gamer. He's a PR guy.

Remember when he called out Duane Starks after the Denver game in 05? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

I think that Duane Starks was bad enough that Monty Beisel could, in good conscience, call him out.

They actually signed his wife. Monty was just part of the bargaining.

True but in all fairness the third string QB looked like he had eaten the second and first string QB's.

    Dude, you ain't kidding

If he didn't suck so bad, I'd say re-sign him just for his ability to go toe-to-toe with Brady in the "hot chick" dept. :rocker:
