Connolly had a very solid 1st-3rd quarters, and so Breer's criticisms seem to be coming from 4th quarter plays I haven't seen yet.
He also notes that Mayo and Guyton had trouble with Bess and Fasano routes across the middle; I can only think of one catch from each that fits that description. Otherwise the Pats protected the middle like their first born.
