He had no more then one elite WR in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2007 (Marvin injury), 2008, and 2009. I counted seven seasons there. I don't know the system in which you count.
So what? 12+ wins for seven straight years is completely irrelevant? That losing season has nothing to do with the argument I was making towards the other poster.
Right. Were they a team in complete makeover rebuilding mode? Do you have any idea how bad the Colts were? Was Brady a #1 pick under that type of pressure, thrown into the starting position and asked to pass the ball over 500 times in his first season? Don't compare the situations, it's really not even close.
He had Faulk for one season in the midst of a disaster on a team that wasn't going anywhere, more so a meaningless year. I am aware he had Edge. Is Edge a WR? And look at Edge in the playoffs, thank god we got Addai, he actually knows how to be somewhat effective when he needs to.
Wayne isn't a hall of fame WR yet. He has one hall of fame WR and a hall of fame head coach. Brady has a hall of fame WR and a hall of fame head coach, yet he doesn't have enough weapons this year and needs more depth despite Wes Welker. Edge is borderline hall of fame. He also doesn't need Edge to warrant a passing game, most Colts fans don't even remember him.
Oh yes, a typical Patriots fans exaggerating and lying about the standards to raise the bar and make it out as if Brady is godly.
How many blizzards has Brady played in this year? One? So why use the plural? Using the plural, you make your argument sound as if he plays in five blizzards per season.
Manning's numbers outdoors are also better then his indoor numbers this season.
