    Well said. This argument is made pretty well for anyone still lamenting the fact that we did not pick up a DE.

    I keep forgetting about Leigh Bodden...he could come back and give us a real nice CB tandem with McCourty...

    One can point to the injury excuse for the D-line just as Bodden did for the DBs.

    One can point to anything but many times, such as this one it doesn't hold up to scrutiny, as:
    1) History shows we have more corner injuries than DE injuries (and I'm sure that would probably hold league wide)
    2) We have 2 corners and 2 DEs in the base, but use additional corners and fewer DEs in the sub.
    The positions are different, and the roster dynamics are too, so no, you can use the same 'excuse' and apply it to 2 different scenarios.

    personally, I agree with him. I'm also looking forward to having Bodden and Wilhite back & healthy.
