    The time is getting close..

I have been thinking of how the Pats would approach playing the Bills.

One question I have is, how will the secondaries defend against Evans and TO in the deep field? Neither of them can be left on single coverage too much, but neither can be double-teamed at the same time.

Do you see us going into nickel and dime pretty early?

I don't think neutralizing Jackson will be much of a problem because of our four man front. Also BB is going to pay him special attention because of last season's final RS game.

I think you're going to see those receiver against our bigger corners getting jammed off their routes.

That 1 second might account for a lot of effective QB pressure.

great point. that appears to be a core part of the retooling this yr -- jamming, and more pass rushers.

If BB presses, he has confidence that he can get to the QB. For 3 years we have watched this soft zone, 10 yard cushion with no pass rush. Lets hope we have the personel to play attack defense... If they are, we could see alot of turnovers and Brady sticking the dagger in early and often. I'm officially pumped for this new D to shred them Bills.

It starts with shutting down the run.

Pats corners will keep the play in front of them and avoid the big play. Gotta focus on tackiling and limiting YAC. I think they can get up 10 pts early and keep the pressure on the Buf D.

Please get off the field on 3rd down! I think thats what I'm watching for the most out of the players and coaching staff.

Our front 7 SHOULD school that spanking brand-new Bills' O-line.

If they do, let's not get all giddy,
thinking it shows how strong we are up front
... when it might just be how raw the Bills are.

No doubt about that. But watching said spanking will still be good times.

Haven't seen the Bills yet in preseason aside from a few plays in their first game. Does anyone know what offensive package they're likely to come out in and run the most? With 3 wideouts that good, I assume you want them all on the field, but that offense has seemed anemic, so you never know.
