They thought getting pressure with 3 or 4 guys, playing press, and dropping 7 or 8 in coverage was enough. Truth is you gotta get pressure on Brady with 1 guy, playing press, while dropping 11 into coverage.
Yeah, being out of state is a blessing sometimes I guess...it seems like a lot of people can't resist listening, don't really get it.
But I do love the "blueprint" stuff. "The way to beat the Patriots is just to blanket the receivers and pressure Brady without blitzing. Yeah, that should pretty much do it. Just cover the receivers all the time and get to the quarterback." Brilliant analysis.
I have a general problem with media personalities. It's as if they stand for nothing other than clicks these days.I will never listen to Bedard ever again. Has he ever explained on the show his stupid Deflategate logic that if you take away the highest and lowest PSI measured footballs and from both the Pats and Colts and just measure the PSI levels of the remaining 7 Patriots and 2 Colts' footballs it is damning and incontrovertible evidence that the Pats deflated the footballs.
After he floated that theory that not even morons like Volin, Mad Dog Russo, etc. would even float, I have lost all respect for the guy. He was supposed to be the smartest guy in the room, but he hands down had the dumbest argument on why he is convinced the Pats cheated.
Exactly. The way to beat the Pats is to have rushers who can consistently get to Brady, very quickly, even when they're double-teamed.
Unfortunately that is how their compensation is based as opposed to taking events and circumstances and offering a unique perspective that make a difference.I have a general problem with media personalities. It's as if they stand for nothing other than clicks these days.

He actually said that? Wow
b. I know Peter has been pretty vocal about how the Patriots’ footballs barely fall out of the ideal gas law range, depending on which gauge the ref used. I look at it differently. Toss out the highest and lowest readings on both the Patriots’ and Colts’ footballs. The Patriots’ nine footballs lost an average of 11.2 percent and 8.3 percent of their initial PSI according to the two readings done. Colts’ two balls: 2.9 and 5.2 percent. It’s not a great sample size, obviously, but to me it’s a common-sense way to say the science is a toss-up, leaving the texts and lack of cooperation, which I absolutely believe should be viewed in the negative column.
Good Christ, I had to shut if off! "this stuff with Guerrero could taint Brady's legacy...again, F & Bedard cited the 2010 playoff game vs NYJ as more blueprint talk...Bedard thinks NYJ can stop Brady & beat Patriots....
I love how the Pats put up 30 on Dallas and that's a blueprint...
this is what felger has been hinting for years for some reason.Felger pushing the Brady/Guerrero connection, Bedard saying if Brady tests positive for "anything" then the4re's a big story....
I prefer to call him "Felcher". Look it up, but it's NSFW (or human eyes).
Felger has expertly recounted that... it's possible to beat the Patriots. Because someone beat them 5 years ago. He's not exactly wrong so much as it's just a point that's so self-evident that it doesn't require any kind of elaboration. Every team can be beaten, and nobody needed Felger to point that out.
As far as the whole Guerrero thing, wasn't hard to see this coming. Just the latest smear campaign. As long as Brady doesn't test positive for anything, it's just wishful thinking from desperate trolls. The fact that they want to speculatively smear Brady based on the fact that they wish he'd test positive for something just shows how little of substance they have behind their beliefs. Every attempt they've made to take Brady down has failed, but they're not going to stop trying, and they certainly won't be confined to the realm of reality in their efforts.
