Although the nyjfl just had to say 'no way in hell' when BB and the patriots suggest it, all of a sudden that it isn't HIS idea, 'what a great concept:'

Have you ever seen a close play on the sideline, at the goal line or in the corner of the end zone and said to yourself, "Why don't they just have cameras in the pylons? They'd be able to see whether the ball crossed the plane/he was out of bounds so much more easily."

Well, you can stop wondering. CBS Sports announced on Wednesday the "Pylon Cam," which will be used during select broadcasts of "Thursday Night Football" and "NFL on CBS," possibly including Super Bowl 50.

The story was that BB made a potty-mouthed, passionate plea (later refuted) for them. His request was dismissed but was then revised by McKay.

Yes. BB got upset when told that it was too expensive for them to do. Didn't he say something along the lines of him holding a bake sale to raise funds?

He did! Classic BB.

Yes, and the full quote is pretty good.

“We just spent however many millions of dollars on the replay system,” Belichick told reporters. “I mean, there are 1,000 cameras in every stadium, so if somebody spills a beer on somebody, we have it on record, right? Maybe we could have a bake sale to raise some money for the cameras. We could do a car wash.”

It's funny how biased the league is against one team
its not funny its pathetic. the league has the same mentality as a youth soccer league has giving all the kids a trophy. the league wants all their teams to get a trophy. and they are tired of the same team winning all the time.

James Harrison agrees:rolleyes:... Seriously tho, the MFL gives me a sick feeling in my gut. How could a game/pastime that I loved so much, only a few years ago, literally make me so sick. What an F'n waste of a beautiful thing. And all the sheeple will follow along until it's their turn. I actually want GoToHell to remain, so they do get their turn.

"Of course BB wants pylon camera to benefit his own team. I would know. I mean not because I would change the rules to uh benefit my...can you turn that camera off? Let's try that again."
-Bill Polian

I'm just wondering how the League managed to afford such amazing technology.

There was this independent investigation see.......
