It is unreal.
First they came for the Pats, and nobody said anything because they hated the Pats.
Then they came for the Saints, and nobody said anything because they weren't the Saints.
And now they come for the Pats again.
The sad reality is, fans of the NFL are just going to continue to cheer on the NFL's destruction because it gives them these off season victories when their ****ty football teams give them none on the actual field.
Everybody celebrated the Pats getting the smack down with the Crygate penalties, even though video taping was universal. Then the Saints got blasted and everyone cheered it. Admittedly, most Patriot fans, IIRC, sort of celebrated it a bit, too, in a sort of "Now you see what we suffered" kind of way (though their penalty was worse). Now Saint fans are probably celebrating this because misery loves company.
The next time the media and league office find someone in their cross hairs unfairly, I hope to see this fan base show some solidarity with them. Gotta' end the cycle somewhere.
