TODAY asked viewers whether they believed the New England Patriots should keep their NFL Super Bowl title after the release of the NFL's "Deflate-Gate" report. See video

This poll alone doesn't matter but public sentiment does.

I'm expecting a ridiculous punishment at this point. There's no way we get out of this with only a fine. This isn't a musclebound dude knocking his wife out this is Tom Brady being connected to slightly under-inflated balls.

And still Robert Kraft does nothing while his team and his star player get executed in the court of public opinion. I can't believe I trusted that he actually gave a damn about the Patriots any further than how it inflated his bank accounts.

Correction, 73% of the people that took the time to vote in that poll think the Patriots should vacate their Super Bowl Wins.

The people that vote on the internet do not accurately represent the population of the USA. I learned that long ago.

Still haven't talked to a person where I live in Texas that doesn't think this whole thing is stupid or overblown. At worst, one guy told me even if they cheated, who cares?

In all honesty this poll was probably heavily biased "Patriots were caught cheating so do you think they should have their title taken away?" "OMG that's terrible yes of course!"

37/50
328 yards
4 TD
101.1 QB Rating

With properly inflated and closely guard footballs

So does that mean they want the salary cap cheating Broncos should vacate their 2 SBs?

77% of Americans believe in angels, so it makes sense that 73% would believe in something that has no solid evidence of existence but makes them feel better on the inside, like a Patriots scandal.

Hulk Hogan with the pile dri........ oh wait, we talking WWE right ?

Love the NFL. Hate the way the NFL is run. Never understood how opposing fans can be so jealous. I like sports. I don't hate opponents.

51% also voted for Obama a second term, what is your point?

Politics and sports are not analogous. Political ideology is quite different from this situation. The Wells report deal is exclusively a matter of critical thought and objectivity, something many people lack.

One can be objective and think critically, and come to entirely different conclusions than you with regard to how the country should be run. I don't think anyone can be objective and think in a critical, rational manner and come to the conclusion that the Wells report was presented fairly and with a balanced, objective tone.

It's unfair to imply that those who supported Obama in his pursuit of a second-term "aren't very bright". There was another candidate, previous experience(s) with former presidents, the idea that politics moves slowly, etc, etc. Many variables in place. I'd have a hard time generalizing any group of voters/supporters as 'x' or 'y'. It cannot be done. You have to talk to each individual and figure out why they supported a particular candidate in order to get an idea of what they were thinking and why they voted for the person in question.

73% of the people in that poll will be incredibly disappointed.
