you know the play.

can anyone tell me anybody other that Mayo and Merriweather who was responsible for the wide open Keller?

not sure if Mayo should have droped back away from Keller.

not sure if Meriweather should have been so deep. But he sure as hell should have brought him down.

Honestly who cares anymore, the jets made the play Patriots didnt time to move on to miami.

ps: not trying to be rude but come on....

Not that it matters now,Meriweather was probably the culprit who did not play close enough to Killer...err Keller

Belichick said it was a busted play, two guys were in one zone leaving the other one empty. Don't know who messed up; but if Meriweather stuck the tackle it still would have been 4th and 1.

looking at the play in it would seem Mayo was in the wrong zone and yes Meriweather could have bailed him out.

Let it go it's all over with. The Jets made the play and the Patriots did not. A timeout would of been good to get everyone on the same page but oh well.

The coaches probably have the same mentality as you guys. "Let it go, it's all over with". They must because the Patriots sure can't ever stop anybody on 3rd and long situations. It's kind of pathetic, really.

An NFL tight end worth his salt should be able to pick up one yard after contact in the open field when up against a safety. Merriweather could have stuck the tackle, but I wouldn't expect it - I'd expect my tight end to pick up that yard, though.

It is over with, are you doc from back to the future you gonna jump in your delorean and go back and change the outcome of the play..? no! Your the one who actually needs to stop bein so damn pathetic really.

I know a very talented TE who uses his body to block passes and will occasionally use his hands to catch them. On a better note, he had an amazing Wonderlic score.

No, but maybe the coaches should practice these 3rd and longs more often, because the other team always seems to convert.

Would Meriweather's hit have stopped Watson? I think so... and that's a problem.
