Interesting. I think most would agree our 3 greatest needs, in some order, are OL, DL, and TE yet positional they have the least contact so far. I know it means nothing really but it's still interesting.

Eathyn Manumaleuna:
2013: First-team All-Independent Team pick after starting in all 13 games. 2012: Started in front of Detroit Lions 2013 first-round draft pick Ziggy Ansah before suffering a torn patella tendon in 2012

NFL Events: Combine Player Profiles - Eathyn Manumaleuna

25 year old rookie, likely a late round/undrafted looksy whilst there for Van Noy?

I think it means that either we've got the needs wrong, and it's possible BB is comfortable where we're at right now (backup Gronk notwithstanding) or there are specific targets that they don't want give away; Bitonio or XSF perhaps, Any of the big three TEs or Hageman, Tuitt or Ford could all still be on the radar in round one and/or round two.

An example:

1. Ford/Tuitt
2. Bitonio
3. CJ Fiedorowicz
4a. KPL
4b. Bruce Ellington
6a. Keith Weening
6b. Matt Patchan
7. Marion Grice

That would be in keeping with the visit list, and that's a very quick and rough attempt, it should not be taken too seriously.

So you beleave this is a Medical check more then anything?

There are two main reasons to bring players in for visits:
(1) Medical examinations by the team's doctors
(2) Interviews
Teams are prohibited from flying players in for workouts or non-medical tests.

I have a bit of a hard time seeing the Pats draft Su'a-Filo; I'm not saying it won't/can't happen, but pretty much the only OLs the Patriots draft are left tackles and centers. [Both Connolly and Mankins played LT in college.]

I'm starting to think with the resigning of Wendell that OL is not one of the higher priorities anymore. I think the FO/BB are higher on Barker/Kline/Cave than the rest of us.

@Ethanhamm: Patriots are going to work out a personal favorite of mine: Dutch Boise State WR Geraldo Boldewijn.

6'3" runs 4.5 and has a 6.88 3-cone.

@TonyPauline: New England Patriots brought in Crockett Gilmore/TE/Colorado State for a visit earlier this week...

They've had contact with every first round WR except Watkins now.

Look. Are they really going to add Geraldo Boldewijn, Eathyn Manumaleuna and CJ Fiedorowicz to a team that already has Michael Hoomanawanui on it?

Some people can't even get Vereen right so just think of some of the versions of Fiedorowicz, Boldewijn & Manumaleuna we would get to see!

I think this is some very interesting information. One thing I am curious to find out is by looking at this can we predict where a certain possible will be draft?

Take WR for instance. They really have only looked at 2 ranges. Round 1/2 and UDFA/round 7. There are a few exceptions but does this indicate that is the range they will take a WR if they do at all?

Dline is interesting too. It looks like they are thinking first round or 5th/UDFA.

Wonder if the Pats are considering trading up....

taking a lot at some guys they've been visiting or having for PW, it seems some are out of reach.

Not sure why they're talking to so many WR's.... seems we have a bit of a logjam at Wr already.

About 30 of these players look like UDFA possibilities.
