There's the picture, you be the judge, from what I saw it looked more like he punched the ball free and had more helmet than mask but its hard to tell.
And did I ever say it was biased? I just said it was bad.
While I'm not going to pin the Bills loss on the refs, because frankly, thats dumb, did anyone else think the refs were downright horrible today? I saw 2 roughing the kicker (punter) not called, a pass interfierence not called, calling whtiner for stepping OOB was just stupid, holding wasn't...
Wow, I always respected the Pats and thought they were above that kind of stuff. Signing a player for a day to get the opposing team's playbook, then waiving him. I didn't think the Pats would stoop to that level.
Now I realize I am going to get flamed for that response, but try to think of...
honestly, its a pretty good group. Bruschi isn't the same as before the stroke, but he's still a top 20 in the league. Vrable can play everywhere which makes him a real asset. He doesn't have the bang of the top LBs in the league, but he is consistant. He will never miss a tackle, and has good...
Ok, someone help me out here, but do all pats fans really think the return of TKO is no big deal? All I've seen on this board, as wella s the trolls on the bills board, is people talking about how TKO is a wuss. Can someone fill me in. Do you not remember him two years ago, being one of the best...
Fair assesment, except for a few things:
1: Losman didn't rely on his legs in college. In fact, he had just 1 yard per carry. And if you've seen him this preseason you'd know he's better than last year. He could turn into a good QB, you've only seen him for 8 games, way to early to write off...
I think Smith is better than Welker. As a WR, no way, but as a PR Smith is very good. He can make guys miss in the open field and make something out of nothing.
The Bills only released Smith because they are VERY deep at WR, and have the Pr who lead the league in PR average, along witht he best...
Wow, you can tell this is a patsies board :P The fact is the bills got better this offseason and NE got worse. Last season, if not for horrible playcalling, the Bills would have split with the patsies. Regaurdless though...
Patsies: 24
Bills: 23
-the bills offensive line is still in question. From what I saw in the preseason they were decent in pass protection, but poor opening holes
-yes, losman can throw the long ball as well as anyone in the league. Its one thing he does very well.
-the bills may very well have the best line...
The Bills are much improved from a year ago. This preseason Losman has been amazing, and the defense looks like they will return to form. The Patriots are very good, but I wouldn't call them stacked. They are pencil thin at WR, and their defense is more than shakey. This game could very well...
Jonathon Smith, or Fast Freddie, is a very skilled return man. He doesn't have great speed, but he has nice moves. He isn't great on kickoffs, but on punts he can make something out of nothing. He will make guys miss in the open field.
As a WR he's iffy. He doesn't run great routes, has so-so...
