Any links yet to the SF papers blaming the Patriots for their role in this tragedy? (I almost thought that's what the story would be...)
This has been making me wonder whether or not it's Maroney's non-running (i.e. pass protection) that's been keeping him off the field rather than his running? Could this be a place where his shoulder injury has still been holding him back?

The story will not die before the end of the season. Bill's non-handshake
with Mangini managed to be a story for almost the entire season last year,
and clearly this trumps that by a wide margin. Hopefully we won't hear
as much about it after the Pats win the Super Bowl this year. Of course...
