Any team that would skip town on it's fans deserves no respect ever. I don't care how well the Colts play or how respected it's players are, they are still the sleez ball team of the NFL!!!
My email response to King. "Patriot Nation does not want John Tomase to slit his wrists, just join Ron Borgs in obscurity. In other words he should write about some other sport in some city as far from NE as possible. Does Anchorage Alaska need a sports writer for curling? "
My two favorite pastimes are the Patriots and canoeing so I browse the discussion boards for each fairly often. Imagine my surprise when I found a Patriots thread on Paddling.net Message Boards. Check it out: http://www.paddling.net/message/showThread.html?fid=chat&tid=787989
:D
The Fins linemen weighed between 250 to 260 each on both sides of the ball. That means they give up a 40 to 50 pound weight advantage for each lineman aginst any 2007 NFL team. The 1 and 15 2007 Dolphins would kick their buts. They would look like the low priced Seahawks in the State Farm...
This joke is old the first time I heard it was George H. Bush, Bill Clinton and Hillery. Lame joke to begin with, but this is the worst version to date.
My contention is that considering how they produced and what was spent to aquire them makes them overrated. Saying some one who has helped his team win a Superbowl is overrated becouse somebody else thinks they are great is a bogus argument. Your comparing oppions which are like ***holes...
I disagree on any of these players being the most overrated in the history of the NFL. My list is:
1) Archie Manning - The founding father of the genic choke clan.
2) Tony Eaison - The glass QB
3) Herschel Walker - How dumb were the Vikings to trade all those draft picks.
4) Brian...
I loved Al Michaels quote about how the Patriots have made the NFL into the Washington Generals, while they play Globetrotters. Not sure of the exact wording but that was the gist of it.
We may never play Denver this year thier not on the schedule. So unless we meet them in the playoffs, they won't be a problem. Also we face Baltimore 12/3/2007 so our offence should be in total sync and getting ready for the post season run.
However the Jets and Chargers are our first two...
If any one can tell me where to find video of the fumble by Addai in the first quarter, where the MVP puts up both hand and dances away from the loose ball. Real MVP move, but he is Payton Manning so nothing was said by the announcers. Any other QB and Simms would have been all over his wimpy...
Grew up in Vermont, now live across the lake in Peru NY.
Never been a season ticket holder.
Been watching the Pats since they started airing games on VT TV (around 63) I was in 3rd grade.
I see three reasons for replay of pass interference calls:
1.High percentages of pass-interference-calls are game changing.
2.A large number of pass-interference-calls are wrong or extremely questionable.
3.Play happens so fast it is impossible to call it properly as it occurs.
The only...
On Colvin's encroachment, Joe Buck stated that Colvin was claiming that the offense line moved when the replay showed that the tackle had just shifted his hand. Therefore, good call by the official. Troy Aikman said nothing in response to this stupid remark. I was hopping for something like...
