I said before he came out of college that he reminded me of Brady because of his quick reads, movement in the pocket and general intelligence even when things break down. We know he's around the right coaches to get the best out of somebody like that.
My hate for the Jets has waned significantly due to his pathetic they've become. I now just pity coaches and players who go there. I can never understand how a great co-ordinator with a huge future in the game would go take over the Jets. It's clear that it's a poison chalice for head coaches...
You don't worry about Lebron, you concern youself with all the other players on the court. You keep them out of it and let Lebron do his thing.
Any of you remember when Michael Jordan scored 63 points against the Celtics and lost?
The only people that can do anything about this are us fans.
I think we have to stop watching for the first four weeks.
I know some people will say that we have to support the team but this is about protecting the team and bringing back some respect after all that has happened.
The one way...
I don't know where I should post this but this bothers me a lot. I'm sick to my gut of the NFL over this. I am not ready to watch a game and I don't know if I ever will be again. The whole organisation comes into question over what Goodell has done.
I definitely won't watch a game before week...
Cannon is a great backup must not a good starter. Great guy to come in for a couple of downs and give somebody a rest but just leave him at that, never start him no matter how good he looks. I expect him to be back next year unless he has a big cap hit.
I was a Patriots fan long before Tom Brady came along and I was fully expecting to be long after BB and TB had gone on to other things.
Now I'm not so sure and it's not about the Patriots at all, it's about the NFL as a whole and basically about Goodell and the hierarchy. They have moved too...
I'm just really hurt by all of this.
I'm a huge football fan and I've always loved the NFL but I'm starting to question my love for the professional game now.
I want to watch football and the brand has exploded over the last fifteen years or so due to problems in other sports and because...
Hi guys,
Just coming on here to say that I've decided that I'm not going to watch the first round of the draft for the first time since I can't remember.
I just feel that the way the Patriots have been treated by the pos that is currently the Commissioner of the NFL is too much. I think we...
I don't see anything wrong with what Newton is doing. He has, along with Rivera, lifted a franchise out of the doldrums and made them bigger and better.
My first non-Patriots football thought this morning was about Newton and how he is kind of like Gronk. He really does get the fans going at...
After yet another defeat in court and with the millions of hard earned owners' dollars spent on this one I pose the question....
Will Roger Goodell be fired?
It's not that he caved in that bothers me but the fact that he let Tom Brady, Bill Belichick down and left the fans hanging.
He should never have come out with the fighting talk he did if there was even a smidgeon of a chance that he was going to accept the penalties. He had the fans riding a...
I never even contemplated a time where I would be anything but in awe at how brilliant Bob Kraft has been as an owner. That all changed today. I'd imagine Brady is fuming, I honestly don't know what BB will think of it.
I never ever thought that the day would come where I would boo Bob Kraft...
Gotta agree with Andy Johnson as regards Dennard. He looked real good in 2013 and last year was just a write off due to him not being healthy. A year in the same locker room as Revis and Browner will have undoubtedly done a great deal for all the young defensive backs on the roster. I'm...
Saddest day as a Patriot for me in a long, long time. I just hope to some way somehow he ends up back here. Its not the same for me when a Patriot goes off playing elsewhere and comes back and retires here. I want Big Vince to play for New England for his whole career.
