Please name the teams that had more talent on offense than :
Gronkowski, Bennett, Edelman, Hogan, Blount, White. And that isn't including Mitchell, Derby, and Foster. All 3 of whom are extremely talented.

He must have forgotten when bug eyes Reche Caldwell was one of our top wide outs

Remember how everyone was saying that Roberts was the next Malcolm butler because of his good training camp last year?

He's injured IR more than likely.
BB is stashing him when Logan Walks next season.
Kind of cold to keep stashing the kid

Blunt?

White?

And Mitchell, Derby & Foster haven't played even one down of regular-season football yet.

No

No I am not satisfied with our WR department. Not enough height arguably no deep threat, and very injury prone. Edelman has only last 16 games one time in the last 3 years. If he has to miss any games this year our WR core becomes very mediocre. Edelman and Amendola are both injury prone and if either get injured, Mitchell and Hogan are not 1 and 2 material. Mitchel too green and hogan not good enough. Amendola isn't either in my opinion

This team could use a big physical number one to compliment our other receivers. Offer the Browns a third for Gordon.

Make better use of a third round pick than wasting it on Shawn Crable Taylor Price Geneo Grissolm
If Mitchell will be healthy i think that he ll surprise you. have a feeling that they hit jackpot with him. Again if he will be healthy.
Big WR is AJ Derby.
Agree on Grissom and i d like to add Jordan Richards.

The league was overall a bit more run-heavy back then than it is today, so scoring was probably down overall also.

Quick research, thanks to Football Statistics and History | The Football Database, shows that during
the years 2001 - 2006:

Year - AFC rank - NFL rank
01…….3rd/23.2 ppg……..6th
02……5th/23.8……………10th
03……6th/21.75…………..12th
04……4th/27.3……………..4th
05……7th/23.7……………10th
06……3rd/24.0…………….7th

So points were indeed harder to come by during those seasons, but that was the case throughout the league anyway. And the Pats still scored more points than over half of the league did in each of those seasons, and in 3/6 of those seasons a lot more than over half of the league.

My contention, that this is one of the worst, if not the worst, OLs and RB groups, and the most fragile
WR groups in the league, still stands.
Based on talent this offense is superior to 01, 02, 03 , 05, and 06 pretty decisively.

Reminds me of 08 when this team by season's end was probably no worse than second best in the NFL - without TB.

You can't put someone on IR after you cut them.

Butler wasn't butler yet last training camp. He was Udfa that played a handful of snaps all year them made a great play to seal SB win. At this point last year no one knew of he could be a #1 corner.

I'm not sure how well they would have done in the playoffs but yea they were playing well at the end of the year.

Two top 5 tight ends, plus tremendous upside in Derby
Do you really believe that Bennett is a top 5 TE? Let's take a look at that theory.

1. Gronkowski
2. Reed
3. Walker
4. Olsen
5. Graham
6. Eifert
7. Witten
8. Barnidge
9. Kelce
10. Ertz
11. Gates
12. Fleener
13. Thomas

Tell me on this list who is Bennett better than and then tell me why? Bennett is a top 15 TE, suggesting he is a top 5 is foolish.

Led all tight ends in receptions in 2014, with Cutler throwing to him. Graham is soft as butter, can't block, same with Olsen. Has always been in top 10 in receptions last several years. So yeah, I think there's a case to be made top 5, but that's subjective, so I can concede top 10

Of that list, only Gronk, Reed, Walker (although questionable), Olsen, Graham, Witten, and Gates are at minimum, equal to Bennett. The truth lies somewhere in the middle of top 5 and top 15. The rest are developing or media darlings.
