Post-spygate, I did make a point of learning the details of bountygate, and... yeah, it was BS.

That said, even knowing it was crap, I still didn't care or have any sympathy for the Saints, because as I recall none of them stood up for us during Spygate. I definitely never thought we'd be back on the chopping block over yet another manufactured scandal just a couple years later.

For those of us who lived through the Vietnam Era-thats what separated that from every other war-before or since-the rich boys and those with connections-never had to fight. Thats who goodell reminds me of -all those country-club rich boys whose daddys' had connections-while guys like Tom would do the fighting(and dying). Im not mad at ALL those guys-just the ones that didnt see anything immoral and distinctly un-American about it. Its why my stomach churns more than a lot of y'all when i see a picture of goodell. Too many friends lost or crippled.

Yea you have a perspective that I don't.

Goodell isn't 60 yet so I don't think he had the chance to weasel out of his opportunity to serve his country.

The Yahoo comment section is a freaking cesspool. It's like if you took every single person with a negative IQ and put them all in front of a computer and forced them to log in. I swear they are all there. Very unfortunate Wetzel's articles are there instead of a place it can actually be appreciated.

And I'm sure you've got perspectives on things I don't. Everyone's experience has value. Damn I sound like a friggin philosopher. I know goodell was too young for nam- I was just saying he reminded me of the worst of that entitled group.

I'm not so sure.. read this 2 page thread on the Colts board about Brady and the NFLPA appealing the CA2 ruling..

Not even Jets fans go to the bitter lengths that Colts fans do without being called out by their own. Only 1 poster makes a half intelligent post and it's completely ignored in favor of the unruly mob that is pushing for lifetime bans and super bowl titles being stripped over .2 PSI

They're some of the dumbest, most bitter fans I've ever encountered. There are a couple in there that actually believe the "deflation" was the reason they lost

I just took a look. You're right. In one of the ratbirds forum there was one ravens fan who called out the fanbase and 2 people on the fence. In the Dolts forums there's not a single dolts fan who believes Brady is innocent. That 1 poster(Bogie) is actually a Saints fan if i remember correctly.

The one post that was disgusting was the one who tried to minimize forehead sexually assaulting the trainer:

Sometimes we need a reminder as how this very simple thing got completely f.... ed up by the powers to be.

The NFL often reminds me of how Government and Gangs work, in Government there is the "Power Elite" who sit back and dictate.. in gangs there are "shot callers" who decide what the underlings will do and who to take out.. there is not much difference between gangs, government and the NFL.

If Brady does prevail, does he move up to #4 most hated NFL Player of all time.. all of this is pure unadulterated ****.. nothing more. There goes my freaking blood pressure at 6:42 in the AM..

He was born in 1959 so he is young enough that he didn't have to worry about his birthday showing up in the draft lottery and old enough that he didn't have to register with Selective Service when he turned 18....
