Matt Light says AFC championship game was lost because of snap count. Calls it "an abomination."

yeah, I think this is just what koppen + chatham were saying, and if it's true it's a good example of how things aren't always obvious on the field, and it's a team sport.
so, when people are jumping all over the tackles they should maybe realize that sometimes breakdowns can run a little deeper than they can see, and this goes for everything, interceptions, sacks, etc

When it comes down to it, that game was very winnable. I'm not so sure the better team won. It will fuel the entire organization into the offseason and into next year.

I'm confident that once the OL issues are rectified, this team will go on an absolute tear.

If we can stay healthy, we are the best team in the nfl

No one can defend lewis, gronk, edelman on the field together

The Pats would blow Denver if this game was in Foxboro.

Let's not forget the defense. The defense was very good for most of the year and played incredibly well in the playoffs. I expect even better things next year with Butler making his 3rd year leap, Tarell Brown being back, and with Easley hopefully giving us a healthy season (or at least a fully healthy postseason.)

Which makes losing hfa even more painful.

But then again, its easy to say in hindsight. But edelman could have played and broke his foot and its a different story

And Roberts coming back. He was promising in the preseason

Don't sleep on Malcom Brown making a jump. He leaped that supposed rookie wall with ease instead of hitting it seemed.

True. I was impressed with him ever since that Cowboys game.

Absolutely. Thinking of the potential of this team makes me wish the season started tomorrow.

This stuff just irks me. That's all coaching. They got outcoached as well.
This is true. But like someone said after the Philadelphia loss, in some ways it shows how amazing the continued excellence of this team really is. None of the sustained success is automatic, and when lapses do occur, they are notable for how rare they are.
