I'm excited, but I'm not going to hold to my breath. It's easy to say, "we were ravaged by injuries this year. Next year, we'll be healthy and will be poised to make a big run." Well, what if we're ravaged by injuries again next year? There's no guarantee we'll stay healthy.

But hey, let's hope we make a strong run next year and pull it off!

I wish there were a science to preventing injuries. If I were Belichick I'd certainly be looking into it.

The only thing that worries me is that we are bound to miss the AFC Championship game sooner or later... can we make it in a 6th time in a row? The stars were aligned for us this time to make a big statement post Deflategate and we missed out on it

Can't assume anything. Making it this far is something to take advantage of, and we blew it.

I can't stop thinking about not taking the field goal... I hope Brady asked Belichick what the hell he was thinking.

I'm done with these weird patterns now that the Brady palindrome prophecy is officially ruined.

Team was pretty healthy in the end though. Much better than 2013. Anytime you waste a healthy Gronk is a real bummer.

One cannot be certain. Gronk and several others may have been playing hurt. We shall find out over the next few weeks.

Yeah at the time it seemed like such a no-brainer, I couldn't believe when they started lining up. The defense was not letting Manning do anything. Get the freaking 3!!! Ugh.

Belichick is amazing. But down the stretch this year...a couple of what seem like rare lapses.

If only there were an elite player on the roster who seemed to defy age...

If dion lewis stays healthy we will win hell if lewis played today we would of won and sure as hell would of caught some of the balls white dropped

Yeah white pretty much should have been used as a decoy, he wasn't catching anything deep. That was frustrating as f.

At this point, every playoff win is gravy...we are way too spoiled. Thank God Malcolm butler intercepted Wilson last year. We'd be chasing that 4th title as fans forever if that play never happened. Today's game doesn't sting much considering how bad the team played. I like NE's chances if they get some damn WRs to help Brady out or a running game. 56 pass attempts is just ridiculous for any qb at this stage of their career

Don't really care about the Super Bowl. Immediately after the game I said all I want to see now is the Broncos get destroyed in the SB, but now I just don't care. Don't even know if I'll watch the game.

I guess I wouldn't mind if the Broncos win... Peyton Manning has had a very long career, maybe it is fitting if he ends it with a Super Bowl victory. I know that's what I'd want for Brady's final year... let him have it this time.

I guess I'm just very indifferent to whatever happens now. Bring on September so we can continue the quest for #5.

Here's what I wonder, though.

With all the pending free agents all across the board the next couple years after, is next year the last big chance at a run?

The last big chance comes when Tom Brady says he is retiring. Until then, there's a chance.

Here's the science…. When you throw it 40-50 times a game, you have more chances for your skill players to get injured.

Maybe we should have a balanced attack instead of airing it out 40-50 times a week. The more you throw, the more opportunities for your QB, WR, and TE to get hurt.

I don't think we're winning a SB with a 2010-2013 type of cast around him though.
