"Gang green" is such a terrible name for a fan base. Although it's a cute pun, they do realize that they're equating themselves to a festering disease that turns your skin black and leads to amputation right? Why would you want to be associated with that?

It'd be like if we named our board "Historic Patriots Valor." Yup, from now on we will go by HPV folks! We are everywhere and show up when you least expect it!

It's the same fanbase that cheered the injury to their own QB (Matt Cassel) and booed Robinson Cano when his father was throwing him pitches in the homerun derby. I joke about the Jest fanbase, and even have things to say about Philly, but KC has long been the most classless sports city in my eyes.

Never mind, I am reading the Steelers forum and not only are they rooting for injuries on Patriots and Broncos they want a dead Bengal player on the field next year. Talk about classless.

I disagree imo it is completely appropriate;);) as the infection is a great match for their colors, saw it on the Sherwin Williams Color Chart it is called.. "Jets Green With Envy"...

FYI the definition of Gangrene (or gangrenous necrosis) is a type of necrosis caused by a critically insufficient blood supply

I've often thought the same thing but then realized the board name fits their fan base rather well.

That looks yummy. Could probably cahve it up with a buttah knife. I'd throw a couple chunks on top of my Gahden Salid.

I can understand them wanting Brady to break a leg but asking for him to die... Jet fans need some serious therapy.

Therapy doesn't go far with those who should be institutionalized.

It's funny how fans of other teams think the Patriots "always get lucky"... I'd like to show them a few catches by the Giants and Seahawks in 3 different Super Bowls... Since they apparently haven't seen them... or something.

I love Jets Gangreen. There is something about the Darwinian Cul da sac that I love observing.....

Lol....I think I'll wait to have the English muffin I have in the toaster.

I loved reading the Jets forum. It made me smile to hear them root so unsuccessfully against the Pats

I think it's cute that Jets fans are so angry and depressed that they are deluded into thinking the NFL is trying to rig games for the Pats...in the aftermath of deflate gate, no less. :D
And even funnier, they think they would've beaten the Pats, they couldn't even beat the Bills to get into the Playoffs.

The genius of two Jets Fans. Someone has to die for them to win.

Can you imagine anyone posting that here about anyone?

GLOOM, DESPAIR AND AGONY ON ME From the TV Show "Hee-Haw" (1969 -1992) Buck Owens & Roy Clark

Gloom, despair, and agony on me
Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all
Gloom, despair, and agony on me

We figured she was rich, loaded to the hilt
And we figured she had class like the Vanderbilts
'Cause we had heard for years how she was so well reared
How was we to know they meant the way she was built

Gloom, despair, and agony on me
Deep, dark depression, excessive misery
If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all
Gloom, despair, and agony on me

I'm just impressed two Jets fans could figure out how to use a computer.

And once again, Jets fans have to root against a team because they have nothing to root for. Decades of failure will gradually eat away at anyone's humanity. I'm sad for humanity when I read Jets threads, but I understand it. If I had to watch the Jets for several decades, I would be a depraved soul too.

I ran across this comment this morning. Well said. :)

Tom Roberts Sr.Sorry but I just don't get it. I have watched over a hundred games this season. Not ONCE have I seen a single game STOPPED to check the ball pressure. Not ONCE. I have yet to see the officials conference in any game to seize a ball and check the pressure.I am still waiting for the NFL to add the little highligh box next to the downs and yards to go indicating the current ball PSI. Or the orange sign on the field next to the down marker 4th down- PSI 12.78. Not only that, but the stat records have completely failed to add in PSI and ambient temperature, as IF they were not THE most important factor in any game. Roger Goddell has been uterly remiss in his duties as the head of the NFL. He has failed to appoint ANYONE to oversee ball pressure standards and has completely destroyed the integrity of the game. I just don't get it. 6 months ago, this was the single most important factor affecting the NFL. Now it's almost as if no one cares. What the hell happened?

Look at it this way. When Brady went down in 08, the other 31 fan bases broke out into spontaneous cheers all around the country....I mean everywhere... and that's not an embellishment. Seven more years of Patriots dominance and can you imagine the collective hate this organization commands now. (lol).

It's truly a"anyone but NE" world that sings a simple chorus of "break Brady's leg" everywhere.... It's a thing of beauty to witness.

Go to any board and they make up stories about beer bottles being hurled at infant children, pats fans guaranteeing Super Bowl victories, and other made up nonsense to justify their hate of this organization. It's truly a beautiful thing to witness how low people will stoop to justify their hatred.

Does anyone really doubt that something like the rise of the Nazi party could never happen again when you have this kind of irrational hatred and justification for it being spewed and absorbed by the unwashed masses who cling to their ridiculous stories like it was the last lifeline before they drown. People are willing to suspend any rational thought in order to justify their misery.

Embrace the hatred because it truly is a thing of beauty that has never been witnessed in the NFL before and probably never will. When history reflects on this period of witch hunts and false accusations, the embarrassment will be the league's to carry for the rest of time as they step back and realize their blind hatred blinded them to what was truly something to behold. As the hatred eventually subsides and the objectivity takes hold, many of those spewing the most vitriol hatred will claim that they were never part of the hatred.

actually laughed at one of the comments,...."why am I watching a sandwich being made?"

I have to say, it's probably one of the few times I agreed with a Jet's fan....
