MASH report: 8 questionable or worse, 2 probable. On the bright side: one open roster slot.

Patriots officially rule out Marcus Cannon, Sebastian Vollmer, Tre' Jackson and Jamie Collins for Sunday against Giants.

Justin Coleman, Keshawn Martin, Shaq Mason and Jabaal Sheard are listed as questionable on the Patriots' injury report.
Duron Harmon and Julian Edelman, who were listed as full participants Friday, are probable.

Cameron Flemming can make himself some serious money in an extension or when he becomes a FA. Playing RT then LT after being promoted from the PS a place he shouldn't be in the first place. Cannon probably has pictures of BB thats why he isn't IRed yet...we have see BB pulled to IR trigger on much better than Marcus Cannon.

Solder is already IR'd. That's why you don't just jump to IR Cannon.

Why would Cannon get IR'd if it isn't a season ending injury?

No Collins is going to suck. Vereen will probably end up having a pretty big day. Still should be a win by multiple scores, though, if the Pats don't turn the ball over.

BB will IR an ingrown hair.

must be a serious toe issue. maybe cannon broke it..
sucks that vollmer cant go.

fleming protecting brady's blind side is frightening. with stork as the RT???

Boy this sucks. This game will be tight.

Yeah, even if Fleming is better, why would you IR one of your top options when the position is so thin? I understand people have their issues with certain players, but is it really worth ditching them at the expense of the team?

Broken toe seems to make the most sense to me since he said it wasn't serious but he hasn't played/practiced in a month. The Mayo Clonic website says it usually takes 4-6 weeks to heal. So if that's the case hopefully he can be out there for Buffalo and if not then, for Denver.

I had a broken toe in a boating accident when a gust of wind slammed a hatch down on my foot while I was hauling up an anchor in a windstorm. Very painful. Bled worse than a head wound. No first aid kit.
You can't just wrap it up and "play". Expect him back for Denvah. For a pro athlete they'll custom make a shoe.

With Donnell out and the giants not having anything at TE, BB will surprise people and Chung will start at LB and contain Vereen.

Chung was already playing LB for few snaps

Yep...all you can do for broken meta/petacarpels is gauze, tape, a popsicle stick, Advil and hard liquor.

The margin for error is very slim.

Well it's not like giants aren't dealing with a bunch of injuries to starters

Hankins (#1 DT) - Out
Amukamara (Starting CB)- Out
Unga (#1 MLB)- Out
Thomas (#1 WLB)- Out
Donnell (#1 TE)- Out

That's 4 out of 11 of their starters on defense out.

I think we all have to realize that BB is thinking long term. He wants everyone healthy for the denver game because that is our regular season super bowl. we can beat the giants without everyone but Denver in Denver is a whole other story. It's better to get everyone healthy for Nov. 29.

Belichick would never approach a regular season game like the Super Bowl but he's not dumb, he knows the implications of what a win or loss there means.

Might be a big day for Gronk.
