In his post-game Q&A, Brady sounds identical to Belichick with his answers.

If you didn't recognize the voice and were not looking at the face, you would think this guy speaking has to be Belichick's successor as New England's head coach.
From your lips to God's ears

The last two offensive series play-calling was horrible. And people who think otherwise need to learn a bit about football and what getting a first down means late in the game..

I'm happy with the win but I'm extremely disappointed with the injuries. Only thing that would have made this worse was more injuries or a loss.

I'll get over this quickly but I am disappointed.

Great XP block by Jamie Collins. Highlight of the night for me.:)

Revis' former manager @JohnGeiger_ is having a twitter meltdown (nsfw)

Those are the SFW ones.

Some thoughts.

#1 Fleming did very well tonight considering.

#2 Amendola showed why he is on this team. He is not Edelman but can fill in for him until he is healthy.

#3 I don't know if there is a rookie OL award but if there is Mason should be in the running for it. He to me is already playing at probowl level.

#4 Run D let up some big plays but the Pats DL went small tonight. They were okay giving that up I think.

#5 Butler with a very up and down night. The DBs as a whole did pretty well though IMO. Ryan with another solid game. Didn't see Coleman much. Curious to see his snap count.

#6 Mayo is not that good anymore. He is okay. That is all. Sad to see. Hope he can do better next year but I have given up on him coming back to form this year.

#7 Even without Sheard the pats showed how deep they are with Easley stepping right up and making things happen. It was not perfect but considering not many stunts were called and a lot of 3 man rushes but they have talent to get some pass rush. Lots of holding calls.

#8 Hightower was clearly missed as was Sheard. With both of them in there the D is better.

#9 Injuries happen. Just gotta hope for the best. I don't think Flemming is a big drop off from Cannon. Vollmer played some RT and LT and did not look out of place there.

#10 Lewis' injury clearly hampered him but he made that critical 3rd and 6 run. Pats offense without much help from Lewis and Edelman with them both banged up. In that context this was not a bad performance i suppose considering 2 of your top 3 (and 3 of your top 4 of you count Lafell) play makers are either out or limited by injury.

#11 Harmon having a pretty good year. Besides that one play against the Jags (i think... the one where he took that angle that gave up a 66 yard TD) he has been very solid this year. Really starting to live up to his pick status.

Edit: Oh I didn't mention Collins by name? Yeah.. Jamie Collins. Enough said.

Anyone concerned a lil with our d line? When are we ever going to get more of a consistent pass rush?
When they do more than rush 3 or 4 players.. They played zone almost entirely tonight.. Which was different from the previous games.

Pagano: "hey, we're .500"

Congrats on your:
2-point win vs 1-4 Tennessee
3-point OT win vs 1-5 Jacksonville
7-point win vs 2-4 Houston (one win vs Jags)

even deion thinks colts recovered the onside kick and refs blew it...did they ?

Pagano pointing out at his press conference that they only lost by seven: "Credit them. They played well, out executed us, and had seven more than we had at the end of the day."

Also, Indy reporter asks Luck if he considered tonight a "moral victory".

Wow! When does the banner go up?!

I think we caught a big time break on that one. Looked like Kline fell on top of it, but it squirted out and Moncrief gained possession. Glad they didn't overturn it though, I'll take it.

The play calling was fine in the final two series. The one in which we forced the Colts to burn all of their time outs is exactly what needed to be done. I believe that was the same series where Brady had a mental error and caused the delay of game.

The prior series was OK play calling too. They threw the ball on second and third down as they should have.

It was the series before those two when it was a head scratcher. Plenty of time on the clock and played uber conservative when we shouldn't have.
