I would like to see RGIII play under Chip Kelly, where I think he would thrive. Shame that he was wasted in Washington.

I'm 99% sure this is the new meme in the NFL. "Oh that QB would totes thrive under Chip Kelly!"

Mark Sanchez looked halfway competent last year under Kelly, so it's possible it's true!

is it just me, or is RG3 getting a bad rap. I was the first to point out that I didn't think he was big enough to play QB in the NFL. He was good his rookie year, but his body just broke down on him. (and his coach leaving him out there was almost criminal).

But from then on, its been people digging on him. He seems like a nice enough kid, doesn't get into trouble. Why so much hate? I'll be the first to admit he can't play QB in the NFL, but it seems that there was been an inordinate amount of attacks on his character.

Why was his coach `leaving him out there` "almost criminal"?

I don't understand.

RG3 is bad at quarterback. The preseason is there for players to get valuable playing time to improve and not be horrible. I really don't understand this media narrative that says RG3 is Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers and shouldn't be left in preseason games… unless it was a conspiracy.

Sorry, but RG3 could use the practice. He should have been playing entire preseason games. That's why we have preseason games. So bad players like RG3 can improve and earn a spot.

How leaving him in the game is "criminal" I don't understand at all.

It's not a conspiracy when the head coach blatantly states he doesn't like him.

Griffin had one of greatest rookie seasons for a quarterback in league history. He's been struggling with injuries between then and now. His coach has stated he doesn't like him, and his offensive line is a sieve. If you were a fan of that football team, you'd be mad as hell at the way they've treated him.

I was talking about when Shanahan left him out there in his rookie year, when he was clearly already injured and he went form a knee sprain to a torn ACL. The kid was hobbling on the field facing a NFL defense, that was criminal.
