O'hara (and I'm paraphrasing here): "After watching Tom answer those questions, you can see how genuine he is. It's hard to watch that [the Salem State interview about the investigation] and say you hate Tom Brady. "
He continued later, "there's a lot of circumstantial evidence... Tom already came out and made a statement regarding what happened, he doesn't need to come out and do it again"
My take from Salem tonight, after a frienD asked me on Facebook what had been discussed:
Nothing really earth shattering. The interviewer tried to get a response on deflate-crap but Brady said he hasn't had a chance to read the Wells report. From there topics included leadership, relating to much younger teammates, Malcolm Butler and the super bowl truck, life with Belichick, life with Gisele and the Brazilian language. Even how he feels when people call him the best ever (he'd rather hear the criticisms). To me he came across as an optimistic, hard working, modest and sincere leader; you walk out saying "there's no way that guy's a cheater." To me, all he has accomplished is a reflection of his attitude, and you can't fake that. He's an inspirational presence and eXample. Of course, I'm a Patriots fan. The detractors, fanned by an envious New York based national entertainment media, will see nothing but rehearsed and insincere affectation. One thing I thought was cool was he said that, after football, he'd like to visit a lot of gyms full of kids and teach them about healthy choices in their lives.
