The Published Wells Report.

By the way, I am sure that McNally talking about new kicks, size 11, 11 1/2... is in this report so that 31 fan bases can scream that it means that's the PSI Brady wanted.

Maybe I missed it in skimming the report, but I don't recall seeing evidence of the chain of custody for the Colts' balls.
I'll save ya the time: it started in Goodell's mouth and ended in Wells'...

Wait I forgot to say "It is more probable than not that"

This is harder than "Mother may I!"

I'm just a visiting Seahawks fan, but after reading a lot of this report and all the text messages in it, Brady deserves to be suspended for a good number of games. Sorry, most of you won't like it, but too bad. Compare what the league was threatening to do to Lynch in a critical playoff game FOR THE COLOR OF HIS CLEATS to what everyone now FACTUALLY knows about Brady from this report and there is literally no defense in favor of not suspending Brady.

Fact, not opinion.

Troll, not honest poster.

Here's a flash. The balls were at 12.5+ psi when the Pats blew the Colts off the field in the second half. They were also at 12.5+ psi when the Pats won SB49.

The rest is fodder for fools.

:) Oh Todd, Todd, Todd. I admire your aspirational view of the league, but the NFL, as regards the Pats, seems to replicate (with the help of various media outlets) the general plot of the trial of Socrates.

As I recall, he had a jury of 500 Athenians, 300 of whom found him guilty of corrupting the youth, introducing strange gods, etc.

Okay fine, you say, them's the rules of Athens, right?

The principle argument was that a great society like Athens would not try a man of such charges unless he were guilty.

Then in the sentencing phase, a far larger number voted for the death penalty.

The argument was that a society as great as Athens, having found him guilty of such heinous crimes, could not in all good conscience settle on a lesser penalty.

The upshot: Some number of jurors sentenced Socrates to death for crimes that they did not believe he committed.

Turn on your TV to NFLN or ESPN and see if you think it'll be limited to 25K.

"More probable than not" (as we've learned here) is code for "preponderance of evidence" in NFL-land, which is code for "punishable threshold."

So I'm not thinking Brady's going to have to pay 25K and that's that. (Maybe those other two guys, who would actually feel the 25K.)

You lost me at Athens, but I'll make this quick, go re-read my original post.

It say's "the media won't like this" but Brady should not be suspended for a thing. That's according to the NFL's own policy, as posted by yourself. If you want to uphold "integrity" you go by the ethics imposed by the league themselves, not a Kangaroo court of media opinion.

Whether they do or don't remains to be seen, but all I'm saying is what "should" happen.

No, it's not trolling. You want it to be, but it's not. If gold cleats earn Beast Mode a suspension, the mere fact of Brady refusing to hand over his cell phone to an NFL investigation he's directly implicated in ALONE should warrant more than that.

I hope class acts like Bledsoe and Bruschi come out soon and defend their guy like they did back in January.

Too many out there with pitchforks and not enough knocking them down.

Somehow I missed all the facts in your post. Plenty of opinion though. Is that you Ted?

No, it's clearly trolling.

"Fact, not opinion."

Now run along. The adults are talking here.

Without regard to this posters opinion: Didn't the NFLPA tell Brady and other players to not cooperate ..... or something to that affect?

The stuffs my wife sent to my phone... I wouldn't want anyone to see either.

I didn't read the entire report, but did they ever say which ball was the intercepted ball by Jackson? If it was ball 10 on this list, why was this not called into question since it was the only one 2 PSI below the 12.5 PSI?

A suspension for gold cleats is absurd, and calling for mass absurdity as a policy is insane. That's like saying that since some kid got expelled for chewing a pop tart into the shape of a gun, we should now expell everyone who makes a popping sound. Less insanity is what you should request, not more.

The NFL has a uniform policy, not a "we read your texts policy." The two situations are not analogous. Brady has no more responsibility to give his phone to Wells for an investigation than he does to let Goodell have prima nocta with Giselle.

Nice argument. And when I say nice argument, I mean I've ate alphabet soup and **** out better arguments than that. A hypothetical suspension that never came to fruition means that Brady will be suspended in this instance. Classic.

The only thing you are I will agree on is that the dorky red headed godfather will probably suspend the GOAT. Hopefully Tom can win some sort of appeal.

The problem with that argument is that you are taking one wrong (Lynch being threatened with a suspension) and extrapolating that into another situation.

There's nothing in the report that I read that conclusively indicates that Brady told anyone to bring the psi below 12.5. Ignore the introduction and read the appendix. It's eye-opening. The report is a hatchet job that started with a conclusion, striving to find something - anything - to support that viewpoint.
