That makes no sense.

It makes perfect sense. If someone hasn't watched a prospect on tape then they are in no position to criticise the pick.
as a card carrying member of the belichick fan club, it's impossible to spin this pick.
tavon wilson v2....this guy is another classic DB bust!!! no idea who the other guy is either. come on bill, listen to caserio for once.
No, it doesn't. There is plenty to talk about beyond a player's tape. You know that.
Once again Bill Belichick provides increased urine flow in the forum ... gotta love it.
It's fine to talk about a prospect. But it's impossible to consider a prospect "not good enough" if one hasn't watched him. My point is, there should be a reservation of judgement, not a rush to criticise.
Caserio was in all likelihood the person who convinced Belichick to take Richards. He was at Stanford's Pro Day.

These are reaction threads. Everyone knows this, even the homers. Just as with game threads and the like, if people can't bring more to the table than "But Bill, so good!" or "Bill's never gotten a pick right!", they shouldn't bother posting in the threads. They are bringing nothing to the table.
Also, if a safety ran a 6.5 40 (I'm being hyperbolic in the obvious hope of avoiding an argument over a cutoff speed), I'd be more than fine with someone rushing to criticize that pick in the second round.
And so would you.
I'd want to see how that forty was reflected in his film. There are some rather famous and oft-cited names that ran slow forties and dominated the league.
As far as I'm concerned, BB has earned the benefit of the doubt. I'm fine giving him that.
For the people complaining will you please tell us your vast knowledge of him from the hours of tape you've broken down? Because you all seem like experts I just want to know what you guys know. Because you're all really smart
Jamie Collins was a great pickAlmost everyone raved about the Brown pick from day 1 of the draft. Be sure you go calling all those people out, too.
Others don't take your approach.
Look, we can both certainly agree on two things:
- BB is excellent in round 1, at least arguably never missing during his Patriots tenure
- As is to be expected, BB hits on less than half of his picks after round 1
Given those, why on Earth should it be so evil to question BB's picks (at least after the first round) that the homers have to try stopping all negative discussion? They sure as hell don't take the same approach when it's positive discussion, after all.
And why the hell do we have to go through this conversation every damn year?
Jamie Collins was a great pick
Was he not a good pick though? Hey guys do I get a prize for getting ignored by the biggest blowhard on the site in the fastest time?I figured you were either trolling, a dupe, or both. Thanks for the confirmation. Welcome to the ignore list.
We only do that in your fantasy world.
