You are pulling a Roger Clemens and mis-remembering. In 2004, Ty Law was out after week 7. That squad had a green Asante Samuel, Dexter Reid, Randall Gay and Hank Poteat. The year before, the awesome D gave up 29 points to Carolina. Feel free to continue with the revisionist history though.

What a f'n troll of a post. Pioli? Really? Pioli leaving might have been the best thing for the Pats. The college scouting department has been a lot better since Pioli left. Caserio I would say has done a lot better than Pioli in the "assistant GM/director of player personnel" role.

Also Pioli had zero say in Brady. **** Rehbein suggested him to Belichick and Belichick took him. End of story.
