cant stand the chicken little thing. God forbid anyone show concern on this board without being called names. Our CB situation is bleak right now...i will wait until the start of the season before i jump of the Tobin Bridge

There are rational posters showing concerns and then there are chicken littles. Chicken littles were here the first 4 weeks, disappeared after the Cinci game, came back after both jests games only to disappear until just recently.

Everyone is, but I really believe that if people think it through they will realize that Woody was never dropping out of the bidding. Whatever the Patriots offered he was going to trump, and unlike the Patriots he wasn't limited by actual cap space, he had more than enough and would simply keep going up until they couldn't any more. Losing Revis ducks but at least he went to a hopeless franchise. Hope he enjoys his money cause he is going to hate playing the rest of his career without ever winning another championship.

Ridiculous that people are "pissed" at BB for letting Revis go. It came down to being good next year vs being good in the future. BB, as always, refused to sacrifice the future for the present. Revis would have had to taken a serious pats discount for us to keep any of our young studs in the next few years. And seeing as how his heart belongs to the jets, that wasn't going to happen. Let him go.

After second thought and a better understanding of the type of person Revis is, I agree with you that even using the $20 million option was not a viable position to keep him. Revis is all about money and ego and he wants to be the highest paid cornerback and the face of sports in NYC. with Jeter gone and all the other NYC teams in the toilet, he now has his opportunity. Obviously, he could never even become the face of the Patriots. In the end, he and Browner helped us win the Superbowl and we will survive without him.

I'm drinking the Pats Kool-aid and it tastes GREAT! It's lip-smacking good.

I'm getting a little tired of all the whining over Revis.

Yes, I'm perfectly happy to take full responsibility and I went to the first Pats game ever in 1960 at BU Stadium. ****can the childish name-calling accusations.

Thankfully the 'chicken little' season here seems to have come and gone. Or more accurately, maybe it's in remission. If Jimmy G goes 0-2, look out.
