Malcolm Butler on NFLN: People have no idea who he is

Richard Sherman did something similar in New Orleans during the SB a couple of years ago. No one recognized him either.

I can understand that with the helmets, especially since most players aren't in commercials. Back when I followed the NHL relatively closely I probably couldn't tell you what 95% of the goalies looked like.

That's suspicious.....Mike Florio is writing an article about this as we speak.

As funny as Woodhead at Modell's. :)

Didn't Danny Woodhead sell his shirts at a sports shop?

Chris Mortensen is now reporting that 11 out of 12 people don't know who Malcolm Butler is.

Also, Chris Simms says that Malcolm Butler is not a top five anonymous Super Bowl hero, so it's a rough go for #21

great !!!

GRANDE MALCOM !!! ;)

I saw this video a couple weeks or so ago, and it's still neat to watch.

IMHO, it's right up there with the Danny Woodhead video where he's pretending to work in the sporting goods store:

Great video, here is a kid who almost got completely derailed early on in his football career.. great recovery Malcolm, he has gotten "polished" very quickly..

It is a long way from Vicksburg, Miss. to Culver City..

Two thoughts:
One. I probably wouldn't recommend that he do that in Seattle.
Two. It makes you realize how valuable facial recognition is for sports and media stars and how much the image of someone like Brady and (like it or not) Peyton is worth.

I would have recognized Woodhead. He has that kind of baby face that you remember. He may not look like a player but he plays like one.

Ive always wondered how many notable people I've run into
