Is it me, or is baltimore better than seattle on offense? I also think baltimore's front 7 is better as well.
Russell Wilson with his legs is much bigger threat. He can make plays . Baltimore's front 7 maybe better but seattle is really fast and physical. For e.g I dont think the patriots will be able to run a wide receiver screen in this game. it will be blown up. I watched the denver /seattle regular season game this yr and denver kept trying it and kept getting lit up.

So far the Seahawks defense has completely shutdown the following top offenses: Packers , Saints and Broncos. Brees, Rodgers and Manning could not do anything. Our offense is not that different, I can see us struggling to move the football and put at leas 20 point on the board.

seattle contrary to belief isnt a very sack heavy team....IMO we have faced better D-lines all season. Ravens, Jets, Detroit, Miami. Aaron Rodgers had all day back there

I was impressed with how our OL handled that Ravens DL. Give brady time and I feel he will always find the right matchup vs any defense

They may not be very sack heavy, but they do provide a good amount of pressure. I remember the Super Bowl last year, I don't think they sacked Manning at all (maybe once?), but it felt like almost every throw was influenced in some way by a closing defender.

Ahhhh! I'm starting to freak out about this game! Get up and stay up it seems to me is the recipe for success! Pedal to the metal from snap one. Don't look back, don't let them back in.

We were able to put up 23 on them two years ago before the wheels fell off in their tough stadium. I think our team now is way better (but they are better too - more experienced). Should be a great game!

I wonder if being in a dome favors us more or them? I guess this dome did not favor Brady last time around...

I'm not going to feel comfortable about this one, regardless of the score, until the clock hits zero. And that's probably true of BOTH fanbases. Both these teams have shown remarkable comeback resiliency.

We'll find out early on, but with an impaired secondary, that SEA D might be a shell of what it was in last year's SB (or even from a month ago).

this actually worries me as well. will the NFL direct the refs to throw more flags the pats way so they dont win?

I just dont buy into stuff like that, i dont really buy into the whole corruption and sting stuff at all, just seems little to movie to me.

And our team does not allow that many sacks: tied for #4 in sacks allowed this season with 26. Seattle was #20 with 42.

Interestingly, Denver was #1 with 17, Baltimore was #2 with 19 and Cincinnati was #3 with 23.

Both the Bills and Jets use the read option ...
I think that will help in preparation for this game.
We have plenty of film with success and failure against it with this years team.

Brady has been getting rid of the ball in less than 3 seconds in most cases over the last couple games, thats tough for any defense to get pressure when that happens. I do think the quick underneath passes are something NE can play well in this game, I dont like the screen against Seattle at all. But I also think Seattle is vulnerable in the middle of the field. But one thing for sure I do believe if NE can run at all they are in trouble with this defense. I really like the idea of putting a TE on Sherman. I do think NE's defense will keep them in the game for all 60 minutes and imho this all about the NE offense. Saying that I think NE wins and probably by 7 or 10. NE wont choke out in the last 5 minutes ;).

I am setting myself up for a loss so I won't be disappointed if they do lose

I'm nervous about Brady's cold getting passed around.
Me too. If it's the cold I've got I don't know how he'llbe able to call signals. Every time I try to talk I break out into a rib-snapping coughing fit.

Rodgers really didnt have that tough of a time moving up and down the field I thought at all. and this was a guy who was clearly limited. right after the seahawks took the lead he marched down the field in about 30 seconds to set up the field goal that tied the game

Last 8 games 4th Q points allowed:

Seattle - 13

...

New England - 12

Al 18 games 4th Q points allowed

Seattle- 80

New England- 58

Now that's just points allowed by the defense. Not INT, Fumble, Punt or KO returns.

Actually he had severe difficulty moving the ball, his last drive being the exception , the other ones were aided by his defense but he failed to capitalize. If i recall he was not able to throw for 200 yards in all his meeting with the Seahawks.
