John Fox is out in Denver

I like Quinn over John Fox.
So the coaching searches are coming in focus now.

Rex Ryan in Buff
I still think Doug Marrone in NYJ
Adam Gase to the niners
Jack Del Rio to the Oakland Raiders
Todd Bowles to the Bears
Teryl Austin to the Falcons
Unless Jason Garrett comes available but he is dedicated to Dallas.
The Jets are actually the favorites to land Dan Quinn. At this point Marrone is out of the race, he's not going to interview again with Woody and company. Schefter and Rappaport reported that the Jets were prepared to fly to Seattle to sin Dan Quinn, had Seattle lost on Saturday . Now, he may change his mind, but if he doesn't I'll be shocked if he isn't coaching the Jets next season.

Denver now is in play for Quinn. So is everyone else with a vacancy. Regardless, if your team signs him, he'll suck.

Elway needs to save face.
What better way to show your fan base you are serious about winning then hire the man who was responsible for your romping In the Superbowl.
The Hawks defense is sexy and popular.
Elway fired his whole staff he can't fire the staff then get stuck with a third rate coach.
Is Elway wants Quinn he will write a blank check to save his own job to get him.

I feel bad for fox, he is a good defensive coach who threw himself on a land mine for manning.

"I'll be shocked!" cries Jet fan...krist, the shock should have worn off by now...

We didn't want him anyway, we just wanted to talk to him- Jets FO.

Speaking of changes:

Ijust saw this guy on TV out here a little while ago, and there was nothing on this!

But now, my wife (God love her!) says ESPN is reporting Elway told the entire staff to feel free to seek other employment. They may, or may not, be rehired.

So, we'll see...

Rex must be really happy he accepted the Buffalo job the day before. Maybe he was as smart as Marone, and required a a 3 day opt-out clause to his contract. :)

I'm guessing the Broncos will interview Quinn after the SB (assuming Seattle beats GB)? I fully expect Quinn to be signed by Woody when Seattle's Super Bowl run ends, but you never know.....

If Dan Quinn is a sure thing why did the Rats ask to interview John Fox?

Correction: He hasn't fired the whole staff. He's said that the new coach will have a free hand and may retain them, but they're free to look at other opportunities if they wish.

I was assured NE was doing it wrong by not following their example!

Definitely got to plug in holes with free agents but the main part of your team should be definitely through the draft

I'm sort of iffy with this because the Broncos went with a way of building a team that does not work. You do not win by bringing in free agent after free agent. That being said, fox isn't a great coach, but he is okay. Whether he should have not been brought back or not, I don't know

The Patriots 2001 team is an excellent example of a team that was built with free agent after free agent, and won.

No, they don't.
