Who would you like to see brought in, in FA?

Resign revis, mccourty, ayers, gostkowski then if any leftover, sign a lt, lg, rg, and if vollmer gone, rt.

if they extend mccourty and revis...and i think they will...not a lot of $$ to be left over. D has a solid core. Wright and Gronk TEs. Maybe another mid level WR or mid level OL guy

RB we are good. TE with Wright playing well and Gronk we are good. QB set. OL an issue. DBs issue if Revis leaves. LBs good if get Ayers back and he should be cheap. DL Branch has done well. Need another guy in case Wilfork goes down again. Getting up there in age

Some nice guys listed here. To replace Amendola, I wouldn't mind the ancient Santana Moss. Not quite the blocker of Amendola but is superior in every other way at a significantly cheaper contract. I'm hoping the vet would have no problem picking up the playbook.

Matt Overton. But he's going to be an RFA.

I'm serious, sort of -- I want a proven long snapper, but I don't really know if Overton is the right guy.

Someone named Moss at wide receiver sounds good.

Calvin Johnson and JJ Watt. If we can land those two, I'd be satisfied.

Would love to see us resign all our key players including Branch and Ayers + special teamers.

JPP - would be a great addition to opposite side of #95. Can rush the passer and is good against the run.

Michael Crabtree - I see him as a similar signing to Lafell. Has had an underwhelming career so far, but still has plenty of talent and upside. Probably wont be very expensive.

Darren Mcfadden - Some view him as a bust, which i agree to some degree but i still think he is a talented back who runs hard, has home run speed with good vision and can catch. He is an incredibly versatile RB and think he would would be a better signing that Ridley and a very good combo to Blount and our other backs.

Mike Iupati - Obvious choice is obvious. We really need help on the interior OL and Iupati brings just that.

Depending on what we do in FA, our draft needs are OL, 3rd TE, RB, DL, S, WR.

Just want to resign our guys.

If we're going to make a splash somewhere, this is the year I want to see it done in the draft. No more back up QB's or Rutger versatility. I want offensive lineman and play makers.

A sorry WR like Crabtree

The Pats have numerous players to get re-signed:
Revis - Long term re-structure.
McCourty - Long term extension.
Gostkowski - Long term deal.
Hightower - Long term extension.
Jones - Long term extension.
Vereen - Long term deal
Ayers - Long term deal

Other players who are free agents (of one type or another):
Brandon Bolden - has taken numerous STs penalties. Can be replaced.
Chris White
Alan Branch - I'd like to see him re-signed.
Jonathan Casillas - I'd like to see him re-signed.
Patrick Chung
James Develin - I'd like to see him re-signed
Sealver Siliga - I'd like to see him re-signed.
Steven Ridley - with Blount, Gray, Gaffney, and White, the backfield is pretty full. You add Vereen to that and I'm not sure there is a spot for Ridley.

Players whom the Pats need to make decisions on:
Danny Amendola : Would save $3.6M if cut
Nate Solder : Either a 3 year extension or cut. Would save 6.98M if cut.
Sebastian Vollmer : Not sure what can be done here...
Dan Connolly : Should retire because of concussions.
Ryan Wendell: should be relegated to a reserve role or let go.
Jerod Mayo: I see him back with nothing being done to his contract.
Vince Wilfork: I see him signing an extension for 2 more years.

That is 22 players currently on the roster or IR (in the case of Ridley). That's nearly 42% of the roster that needs to be addressed..

I'm pretty sure Jones, Hightower, and Branch are under contract already.

BB buys low, he bought Moss when they thought he was done, Corey Dillon, Welker when he was a nobody. Fitzgeralds cap hit is 23 million, I think he's a legit possibility because there's no way AZ pays that.

Why would they cut him ? If he is moved he will be traded... a player like Gordon on a rookie deal for year ? I am sure somebody will hand out a nice pick..

Read some rumors after his suspension that they were basically trying to give him away a year ago after his latest suspension, his value is dropping by the day.

Jones and Hightower will be here next season but an extension will be great for both parties.

Branch is a FA in 2015.

Rotoworld says he signed a four year contract

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4157/alan-branch

That's been discussed before. Branch signed a 1 year deal with Buffalo in 2013, then got a 3 year extension in November 2013, which is why Rotoworld lists it as a 4 year deal. That contract was voided when the Bills cut Branch in August. The Pats signed him to a 1 year deal, and he is due to be a FA in March. It's confusing that Rotoworld never updated their information on Branch's contract.

Here's spotrac's site:

not a FA, but 5th round pick to the Vikings for Cordarrelle Patterson.
I wasn't a fan of CPatt predraft, but I think McDaniels (if he stays) can get him back to the level he played at in 2013... which would be a huge addition to our offense.
