In fairness, the PA was there and there by a lot. Brady made a good check on that play. Had he been able to step into the throw it would have been at least a field flipper if not six. Tough execution on that one and hindsight is 20-20 but if the line denied penetration on that play we would all have been heralding the genius of 12.

Sorry I disagree. There is no scenario where you throw the ball like that in this situation.. even if the reward is big, it is simply not worth the risk..

they essentially **** all over their otherwise good first half performance.. with one throw it all became meaningless..

Let's **** them up PATS!!!!!

I have no idea why anyone thought the Patriots should have run Gray instead of kneeling it with 50 seconds left. The Patriots, mostly due to Brady, are in a slightly panicked state after the turnover and Colts touchdown. Trying to do something with it before the half had more chance of going wrong than right. With the lead, kneel it and regroup for the second half.

The Patriots, on the road against a very good team, are ahead with getting the ball back to start the half.

I'll take it.

what happens if the colts shut the run down and brady is forced to throw more??
seriously, i thought we'd see more two TE sets.

Don't understand the pressure, this is not a great defensive line.

Outcoached? Look at the score board.

BB nor McDaniels called a pass play. The play was clearly a hand off to Gray. Brady audibled and hucked it up. Those points the Colts scored at the end are on Brady. Not the coaching. Should be 14-3, maybe 17-3 or 21-3 right now.

Yeah if it wasn't for a stupid decision by Brady, the Pats would have held the highest scoring offense in the NFL to 3 points in the first half and even with that stupid decision they held them to 10 points. And Belichick is getting outcoached.

See the look on BB's face.. he is pissed at that audible.
It's justified. I know what Brady saw and I'm sure he didn't expect pressure right in his face at the snap. I mean, Gronk was momentarily open. That looks like it would have been a big play had Brady had time. Nonetheless, Brady is too legendary to make a stupid, Sanchez-like throw like that.

How did this o-line handle DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller but can't even handle......uhh........who's on the Colts' d-line again?

You guys are killing me here. The first half was a bit rough and you guys are making it sound like we fielded the raiders team out there. Relax.

I don't think anyone's doom and gloom. I'm stoked to still be up but we're playing sloppy. We left a lot of points on the field and gave them an easy 7

14-10 Patriots! Second half!

Gray is killing them and McDaniels can't use him for 3nd&1
Brady is getting killed but they are using him like crazy

You're like the 8th person who's said that - and all 8 have been told the same thing: that was ON BRADY. He audibled the call at the line. McDaniels didn't call that play, Brady did.

I don't blame Brady for the audible. Just the execution. It was very short yardage and Indy was stacking the box. He checked into the play most favourable for the team. Even if the long bomb didn't connect, they could have run it on the next play. This would have kept the Indy defence honest. Can't keep running and running the whole game either.

But two problems. The line didn't hold and Brady then made the mistake by not taking the sack or just throwing it away. The floater was a bad call. Reminds me of the Int Brady threw against the dolphins in week 15 of the 2004 season. floater to nowhere. So again, right audible, bad bad execution.

Ironically, that is what Andrew Luck does in those situations. Brady is usually smarter and just eats the ball.

I trust this team and their leader TB12 he will bounce back in the second half

To the people saying the D is bad, we held the Broncos to 21 points and the Colts only have 10 on the board so far. How is the defense bad?

Aw it doesn't matter, I think they will win this, luck is also not having a great game and if they don't win they just have to regroup. But if they lose this I think they go 12-4, Green Bay looks like a loss to me.
