This is what I expected and commented about previously in this thread. And I'm mot anywhere near an X and O guys but thought it obvious.

I can see where Devey thought the play was a run play, but he's the ONLY lineman that far down the field.

Well at least this explains to me why Brady took the sack instead of just throwing it away.

Running against a four-man d-line with man blocking responsibilities usually only one offensive lineman goes to the second level, excepting whams or pulls. It's not unusual.

He'll be on in a couple of minutes.

Good Bedard is late so Felger and Mazz can do victory laps that Bedard is wrong about the pressure problems earlier in the season affected Brady's play and that they were right that Brady just sucked. Their evidence to support their theory - "Just because".

Oh good, instead of going over the Jets game, Felger is going to make the first segment with Bedard why Brady is clearly well into a decline and how Bedard is an idiot on this subject.

How long will it take for Felger to say it is a QB driven league and teams can't win the Super Bowl without a QB (two of his favorite talking points)? I am sure he will answer his own question.

People have been saying the you can't grade Brady because of his O-line, and people are excusing Brees for his line's terrible play. So why do QBs get paid so much?

That sort of crap. In typical Felger form, he ignores the obvious (some adequate level of play is needed, not an unbreachable wall of power) in order to gin up a topic.

In fairness, yesterday's discussion was about how Pats fans are hypocrites about the Harvin trade and if Belichick traded for him, they would be touting his genius rather than making fun of the Jets.
