Rex on Peyton: “I’m not going to say we’re going to poison his food or anything, ..."

I agree, Kontra. I can't cheer for the Jets, but I do want the Broncos to lose. My vote is for the Donkeys to fail. Won't happen, but that would be the best of the available choices as both team cannot lose.

When the Jets are potentially strong, they are easily my least favorite team (a position presently held by my alternative choice, the Cravens - Jets South). This pathetic version just doesn't carry my hatred. Plus, I would like to see them win enough games to keep Rex around. That man is solid entertainment.

I'm rooting for the Broncos to lose, not necessarily for the Jets to win.

BUT, if that doesn't happen and the Broncos end up winning, seeing how the Jets fan forum react to yet another Jets loss is pretty amusing.

It's a win win game.

The Broncos aren't losing this game. The Jets have possibly the worst cornerbacks in the NFL and their quarterback situation is a dumpster fire. You can't beat Denver with a **** secondary and without a complimentary offense. Denver is going to blow them out.

Rooting for the Jets to win so Ryan can keep his job a little longer. Would be sad to see him leave- who else would we beat up on?

Agreed. He shouldn't be allowed to so easily extricate himself from that crapfest he himself excremented.

I just cannot bring myself to root for the Jets. Sorry. I won't be pissed off if they lose but I won't be actively pulling for them during the game. And if you don't believe me, I was on record with not rooting for them back in 2008 in Week 17 when a win for them would have meant we made the playoffs.
I swear Favre botched that game on purpose.

I think the writing's been on the wall since the offseason that Rex is done after this year (unfortunately), so I kind of just want to enjoy it while it lasts. REALLY enjoy it. I want them to get blown out every week.

I was watching NFL Red Zone channel last week, and all the other games had ended except the SD-NYJ blowout, so they had no choice but to air it for the last half a quarter or so til it finally ceased. It was clearly painful for most NFL fans to sit through, but I was loving every second of it.

Go Denver. Ugh.

Now, now. We can't dash their hopes if we don't give them new hope. Rex isn't as much fun to beat if he is already so full of despair that he won't throw his headset anymore. I mean, the Jets are already at rock bottom so the real fun is to crush the next coach!

Lol, good point. Downtrotten out-of-hope Rex is probably not very fun. Maybe it would be fun to watch the ridiculous emotional high and ****iness level Rexy would attain by slaying The Great One, only to keep bragging about his accomplishment all through the short week next week. "We beat Peyton! Brady's got NOTHING on us! I'm not gonna kiss such and such's rings (unless it's a toe ring)" etc etc etc...

...Which leads us into another Pats beatdown of the Jets. Oh the possibilities!

Rainbows and unicorns have nothing on this. It's ...it's like a fairy tale, but told by Belichick!

and all the Patsfans lived happily ever after...

"Now I'm not going to say we're going to poison his food or anything but... PEYTON! Let's go eat a snack!"

I want Peyton decline talk by the announcers in the 3rd quarter.

With the way he can do no wrong, the announcers will be praising how is heroically carrying the team on his shoulders...
