Not sure if I read this anywhere, but was he injured on that last play of the game?

He seemed to get up quickly and fine from it. Could be personal, could be injury related.

Don't know but if he was then Mangold should be suspended, that was BS.

Probably just got a day off. He looked fine on Thursday.

He looked like he walked away from that without issue. He may be (and hopefully is) just getting the day off.

These all seem like very reasonable assumptions.

This year though? My money is on something weird like a deep tissue abrasion, out 4-6 weeks :p

Stinkin Jets. *itches. I hope someone takes out Mangold's leg this week. That **** was so unnecessary.

As much as I agree with this emotionally, if Talib misses time it's his own damn fault. The game was over, all he had to do was run out of bounds or drop to the ground. He put himself in harms way by dancing for no reason.

Classic victim blaming. Just because he potentially *could* have avoided it, doesn't mean it is his *fault*.

It wasn't the smartest play in the world, I think he was clearly trying to be cute and score a TD, but it's not his fault that someone decided to go low on him as a result.

How was that dancing, he was running, made a move and then went down the sidelines when he saw a lane. If no one was going to try and stop him why not get a touchdown.

If Talib wished to risk injury in order to try to score a meaningless TD, then he needs to be disciplined by the team.

He didn't "risk injury" though, nor did he try to score a meaningless TD. He tried to keep the ball alive to run out the clock, and Mangold tried to injure him cause he was p*ssed. By your logic all players should be disciplined just for playing.

Haven't heard anything on Talib yet any word on him?

It didn't look like "dancing" or showboating at all to me. He was dodging guys down the sideline trying to gain yards after the pick. That said, he certainly could have hit the deck or immediately gone out of bounds to protect the ball.

Let's set something straight.

Talib getting hit in the knees was not his fault at all. The idiot mangold could have simply pushed him out of bounds, the guy was frustrated and came diving in at the knees.
