Final round cuts (Non-Patriots)

I would love for us to pick up Winfield. Anything that can keep us from having to put Cole on defense is good. It would give us some corner depth so everything doens't fall like house of cards as soon as a corner goes down.

McElroy binned by the Jets. I'd put good money on him being brought in for a 'tryout' etc.

Danny Watkins waived - 1st rounder 2 years ago. Way to draft, Philly.

I'd love for the Pats to bring one of Antoine Winfield, Richard Marshall, or Marcus Trufant. Crezdon Butler could be someone the Pats eye.

Also would love the Pats to bring in Matt Furstenburg (TE) or Clay Harbor.

I could see the Pats giving Danny Watkins a look see, though hearing a lot of chatter that he's not fully committed to playing..

Greg McElroy would be an excellent signing, imho.

Jarron Gilbert could be someone the Pats look at for the D-line.

I could see the Pats bringing back Matt Kopa who was developed for a couple of years on the PS, if the Pats feel they need another back-up lineman..

Now there's a guy who's injury prone.

So greg mcelroy was released. To me he looked better than sanchez ever did. Such a shame. I think there's untapped potential there.

Some interesting names at OL, FB, WR (just kids though), QB, CB & Safety; not so much on DL, so far.

One list of cuts still outstanding are the cuts from the Giants. We might find a DL there.

Chris carr of the saints released. Heard he pplayed good in ps. Analysts said he should not be out of work. ..hmm kick his tires?

Lions cut rookie UDFA RB/KR Steven Miller. He was on their 53 man bubble and they are likely trying to sneak him onto their PS. The kid is tiny but explosive. Would be a bold move to pick him up and cut Washington but he has tons of potential as a KR and Woodhead-esque RB.

Seahawks have released former Florida DT Jaye Howard (6'1", 301 lbs). A possible fit for that DT spot.

DT Jaye Howard was cut, that's someone people here were talking about a few days ago.

Probably a better option than anyone else as a backup to Wilfork and Kelly.

Troubled DT Alameda Ta'amu cut by the Steelers along with former Illinois CB Terry Hawthorne.

Bengals have cut Reid Fragel. Give him a year under Scar and you're looking at a swing tackle with Starting potential.
