Another sweet ass value pick by the Ravens in Kapron Lewis-Moore. If he recovers fully from the tear in the BCS championship game he's a great fit for their scheme.

excuse me if i don't cheer the ravens draft moves. they are still the enemy to me. i hope their draft is full of busts.

now going back to the pats who do we target in round 7?

Just saw it reported on twitter by a good source that he's "last into practice, first out". Explains his drop.

Lazy OT? Ok, 2nd choice is,

PATRICK OMAMEH, OG, 6'4", 300lbs, Michigan (Brady would love this!)

From NFL draft:

"BOTTOM LINE Omameh has an athletic build and possesses excellent flexibility for his size, but is also impressive moving his man out of the running lane. His intelligence and growing frame make him a solid mid-round choice and should land him a spot on an NFL offensive line sooner, rather than later."

Is it just me or is Da'Rick Rogers still available? Did he poop in some GM's cereal and seriously disappoint? Would the Pats consider taking a flyer in round 7?

Nope, you're not wrong. He's still there. I would love to take a flyer on him with one of these 7's. Others I like:

DE Michael Buchanan
WR Marques Wilson
WR Charles Johnson
CB Jordan Poyer

I'd like Fragel if we didn't have Cannon and Svitek. I'm not sure I can see someone who is 6'8" playing OG on our team. Especially if we're trying to throw short passes to a guy like Amendola.

Still the same clownish poster you've always been, I see. I figured it was a mistake to take you off ignore. Well, easily remedied.

Still the same arrogant lying poster that you've always been, Deus. I'm one of the many who can easily stand up to you and match you with real facts. Something that you always hate.

That's the point. You may be tall and fast, but, if you are not a smart WR, and cannot learn, you are useless in the Patriots scheme (ala, Bethel Johnson)

It's DaBruinz, so it's expected.

"Talking to people in the organization, they misjudged how important football was to him," said former NFL linebacker Steve DeOssie, who hosts a Patriots postgame show on Boston sports-radio station WEEI. "I don't think he worked as hard as they anticipated him working.

"A receiver in that offense has to make some reads. He had to do a little more homework than with some other offenses, and he wasn't ready to put in the work. It wasn't a physical-skills scenario. He wasn't putting in the effort the Patriots expect, especially out of their top picks."

Chad Jackson - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN

On the field, off the field, however you want to slice up the pie. The kid didn't have the motor.

the raiders again...they need every second for their decision

Alvin Bailey might be my favorite remaining OL prospect. Most of his issues are technique related and he's still quite good. Scar could really refine him and turn him into a potentially future starting Guard.

I'll take OT Nick Becton. Anybody else?

The 23rd pick of the 7th round is awesome:

Vikings (from Vikings through Patriots and Buccaneers)

Zipster - that wasn't Deus point at all. You should have read the other responses before throwing your two cents in. Deus' claim was that Chad Jackson had character issues. That claim is false. He had learning issues. As in a learning disability. It is well known that it took 3 years for Jackson to fully digest the play-book in college despite working hours and hours and hours on it. Kid was great at film study, by all accounts, but just had some sort of disconnect there.

What's laughable about Deus claim is that, while Collins included himself with his teammates in saying that the team gave up on the coaches, the COACHES of his team and opposing teams made it a point to say that COLLINS showed up every day and worked his butt off. And did so on game day as well. So, if that is having "motor issues" then I'd love an entire team that does that. Shows up. Works their butts off in practice and on game day.

Aaron Mellette is still out there.

Brandon Kaufman
Rodney Smith

and I have a hunch about Uzoma Nwachakwu. Lit up his pro-day.

And Sam McGuffie.

Someone indicated that he is lazy. So, my other pick is Patrick Omameh, 6'4" 300lbs, from Michigan. The read on him is that he is a smart kid...

Sciz's favourite Nickell Robey is still on the board. Tiny CB but excellent cover guy.

If we took Da'Rick Rogers that would be something else.

It's funny, I've been arguing against him from the start. Total bad seed -- kicked off one program, attitude problems at the next. But if we'd taken him at #91 and the Rutgers cypher in the 7th, everybody would love our draft!

I like Kaufman, or Gragg maybe?

The Lions took Michael Williams. Hoped we can get him as an UDFA

Mike Williams gone to the Lions.. They must really love that name there..
