They've been "teasing" this morning... as I write it's 9:36, I think it airs sometime this segment.

And my apologies if it's just the fifth re-airing of the same interview.

It's not. What Lombardi posted with his article was just the tease. I debated starting a seperate thread but just bumped my earlier thread instead. It should air about 9:58 if their 30 minutes banner was accurate. They're teasing it again going into a commercial break. I'd say segment after next.

I'm expecting an informative, interesting, eye opening, and entertaining interview here. Belichick always divulges so much information on everything that I feel as if I actually work in the organization. What a fountain of information that guy is!

Anyone got a link to a decent stream?

:pSeriously, anyone who's a Pats fan could write down now exactly what he'll say and be 95% right.

"Are you giving up on the season?" "Are you kidding me?"

Loved that.

Just aired. I was posting on here so only half-listening... but yeah yer right, that's what you do when BB speaks on a public relations front.

The funnest part is watching the NFLN guys saying how the Pats are smart to do it. What other team do you get that with?

"They don't want to play fantasy football anymore." Wow - -surprisingly good line, Warren.

Did Marshall Faulk just say something positive about the Pats?

Where am I???

Jeezus...even Marshall gets this. LOL Of course the diva WR on the panel will never get it. Because for diva WR's it always all about them. Love the Sapp quote...they aren't playin' fantasy football anymore. :rocker:

Mooch did a segment earlier on why SD doesn't need that WR to make Gonzo go... But at his core he is such a talent whore... Part of his endless fascination with his AARP QB binky...

The fact that I agree with Sapp and Faulk makes me very nervous. Maybe I just got dumb.

Wow Rich Eisen trying to be the mediator. I am surprised at Sapp and Faulk position at supporting the move.

Why does Irvin always emote and shout like a damn opera singer? Someone needs to keep that idiot away from the caffeine. As for the BB interview: he said nothing, as usual, only with a smile on his face. That's the only difference: during a sit-down with national media, he smiles while saying nothing.

Is it just me or did Faulk look legitimately pissed at Irvin? Especially so when he gave him that death stare followed by "None with him". Faulk and Sapp actually made a lot of sense. I was suprised that Sapp didn't followup his superbowl point by mentioning how the excessive targeting of Moss and constant attempts at quick scoring ultimately lead to their loss. I'm also fairly certain that Michael Irvin may be as insane as his blazers. I got a good laugh thinking about how receivers genuinely believe that they make quarterbacks and offenses.

It's not the caffeine. It might be the crack though.

Truth is somewhere in the middle. Of course in a vacuum you're better with a HOF receiver than without him. But not the Pats in this particular circumstance. And no, I do not believe the season's over b/c Moss is gone. Moss was that last piece in the puzzle in 07... now, if the Pats go all the way or even deep in the playoffs, it would be more like 01-04 -- everybody playing their roles and executing, not getting 80% from a ton of fantasy football picks, getting 100% from a talent level that's sustainable. The Moss/NE relationship shows that 1) the huge talent level is not a guarantee of success and that 2) sometimes you can give up on the talent, when it is clear that you will not benefit from that talent. Moss isn't bigger than the team; I respect that.

But uh, yeah, Moss with a good attitude (not, one should note, an option) would be much better than no Moss. Moss getting progressively more problematic, as the team itself is actually moving toward a good post-season run? Now that would give me heartburn.

Here's a question for the CBA/capologists: what does the ongoing concern about contract price say about the likelihood that the NFL goes uncapped in the future?

If I'm the Pats, don't I just finish out this year with a big, fat, one-year extension, with the promise of a big deal when the cap comes off (after the lockout is somehow resolved?)

Doesn't this basically point toward a belief on the Pats' part that we really are looking at a cap beyond '10?

Or am I just ign'ant?

Missed the BB part. That sounds perfect. He'll get a full season of motivation out of that type of question.

No, you're not alone in seeing that. I think they have a genuine dislike for one another. It certainly comes across that way on-air.

No! You must look at it as for this moment in time, Sapp and Faulk got smart.

I didn't get to see this. I don't suppose there's any chance I can see this online later...I need to see the facial expression as well.
