It does swing both ways you know. Sure, a play or two against the Cards, Ravens, or Seahawks gives the Pats a couple extra wins, but one more defensive stop by the Jets, one final TD by Fitz, and Willis McGahee not choking the game away and sports talk radio around here would be unintentional...
I don't know, this loss didn't really sting for a Bills fan. It wasn't like the Titans game, where Fitz threw a pick running the clock out and then Hasselbeck just waltzed down the field for the winning TD, and we couldn't stop them on a 2nd and 17 in the drive (gave up 16 yards the next play)...
Ugh, I'm not that confident about this one. We always seem to lay an egg against New England at the Ralph (and we generally fare better against New England in Foxboro). The Bills have scored 3, 10, 0, 10, and 6 points in their last 5 games against New England at the Ralph.
David Nelson and...
It was either cheer for the Jets or cheer for the Cowboys...a situation similar to having to choose between either AIDS or cancer...
I had to pick the Jets, considering that I can never get behind supporting America's Bandwagon down in Dallas. Also, if Dallas won, we'd be hearing the...
I can do you one better...the Bills don't have anybody remaining from the 07 draft IIRC...and one player I believe from 2006 Kyle Williams...we just lost Donte Whitner, our laughable #8 pick from 06 to the 49ers...we picked Donte when everybody and their grandmothers thought we would take...
Need some help - I remember seeing a user with an avatar/signature image about the Jets.
It was a Wheel of Fortune puzzle and the cateogry was New York Jets, and the puzzle was "A BIG F*CKING MESS", with every letter but U lighted up.
Anybody know where it is?
I've been digging through...
Believe me, I thought the Jets talked themselves out of any chance they had of winning. I was thinking to myself "Every time these guys trash talk, tack 10 more points onto the spread in favor of NE."
I wanted the Colts to win their Wild Card game since I didn't want NE to have a free win by...
I still think New England will be the favorites to win the AFC East next year, and I think they'll be a tad stronger than they were this season, as they have a ton of potential with their young players.
As long as you don't run a square peg, round hole philosophy like the Bills do, you're set.
So, are you guys gonna be Steelers fans for a day?
Another pickle for Patriots fans for the AFCCG. Last year for you guys, it was cheer for Colts or Jets and then the NFC team in the super bowl.
This year, I assume it's cheer for the team you hate least and then the NFC team in the Super Bowl.
lol...
I'm from Attleboro, only a tiny highway ride up to Foxboro...
I've been to 2 Patriots games so far...the BUF/NE MNF game last year and this year's BUF @ NE game...you shouldn't need to ask me on how the former game went (Hint: McFumblin'......I mean McKelvin)....and the latter game...
I don't know, when I first saw the name "Taco Head", Peyton came to mind, because you know, all of the big head jokes with Peyton that surface around on this message board....
Thanks....
Also, I know I have a better chance at hitting the next 6 Mega Million jackpots than the Bills do at landing Peyton, but you are correct....Ralph is one of the cheapest owners in the NFL, he would never toss up $100 million for anything.
This 15 game losing streak to NE is...
Aw, you wouldn't look forward to a Brady/Peyton matchup twice a year?
Buffalo could give Peyton a pretty decent supporting cast. Evans, Stevie, and Roscoe. He'd get an OL that's average in pass blocking and a bit below average in run blocking.
