Re: Brady Rewards Offensive Linemen With New Cars

Why do I think Logan Mankins drove his directly to the Ford dealership and traded it in for a Ford F-150?

Re: Brady Rewards Offensive Linemen With New Cars

A millionaire giving other millionaires an Audi. Tom should give some money back to the fans who watched SB 42.

Brady gives Pats linemen new cars

Some quarterbacks will take their offensive linemen out for a steak dinner at the end of the season to thank them for their protection. Others might gift their offensive line with Rolex watches. That is, if they're lucky. As Dan Koppen, Logan Mankins and Stephen Neal found out last night, he tends to operate on a much grander scale than most quarterbacks. Dinner? Fancy watch? Brady presented the three offensive linemen who came to his event with an Audi Q7 SUV to kick off the Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port.

...and the OLinemen should give Tom, and us, an apology.

Re: Brady Rewards Offensive Linemen With New Cars

Shouldn't the Giants being giving the OL new cars?

The new Ford Stunt.

Yes, because 18-0 and 3 minutes from the first 19-0 season in NFL history wasn't worth anything.....:bricks:

I doubt he spent much money on it. There is a tie-in with Audi and the charity. I'm sure he got a nice deal on the cars or more likely paid nothing for them. That's one way celebrities stay rich. They get things for free.

Re: Brady takes care of his O Line.. buys them 42K cars.,.

I already posted my smartass comment in a similar thread, which I'm confident the mods will merge with this one whenever they can. I just happened to see the other one first.

Hand grenades and horse shoes - YES!!!!!!!

NFL Football - NO!!!!!!!

i've read enough of your posts to know that you're a smart, thoughtful person and are capable of holding two contradictory thoughts in your mind at the same time. While I think this is a very nice thing that TB has done (pls see my other post in this thread), I also think that the o-line helped "cost us a football game."

Certainly, no other Patriots unit played as collectively a poor game as the O-line on Feb 4th.

Re: Brady takes care of his O Line.. buys them 42K cars.,.

If Brady went solely by the O-Line performance in the SB , They do not even deserve 1974 Dodge Colts

Hell, they wouldn't be worth 1974 BALTIMORE Colts

I read one of the linked articles, and found this part amusing.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Tom Brady announced Friday night at a charity appearance that he'll serve for the next three years as honorary chairman and celebrity ambassador of the Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port, a bike ride founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver to raise money for people with intellectual disabilities.

Now I know this may not be PC to point this out, but it seems like my Brother in law finally found a way earn money doing nothing, cause he is sure mentally challenged.

I will have to tell him to send a thank you to Tom.

You mean the 3rd? Sorry but, the 4th is my birthday and it's bad enough one Manning had to win a SB on it.

Re: Brady takes care of his O Line.. buys them 42K cars.,.

A Q7? Damn, I sure would like to get me a set of those wheels...

Just like Matt Light, I heard these can turn on a dime.

Re: Brady takes care of his O Line.. buys them 42K cars.,.

On a side note...Dan Marino use to buy his O Line isotoner gloves. Come to think of it, he probably didn't even have to pay for them because he was always sponsored by them so i'm sure he received them for free.

but why the heck would you need isotoner gloves in MIAMI?

Three years from now, all of the cars will break down in the middle of the road, and a note on the dashboard will pop up that reads: "Old reliable breaking down at the worst and most inopportune time? Now you know how I felt. - Love Tom."

Tom probably felt guilty about yelling at them during the Super Bowl. It's extortion because he knows he needs them to make him look good. Give me 10 seconds to throw the ball and I'd look like Montana too.
