I was going to take either Ellis or Dorsey. Dorsey's injury concerns are not much of a concern to me. While he wasn't as dominating after he was chopped, he still played at a top level. Still played are the operative words. Time-off and the pro regimen will have him back in a jiffy.

He fills a desperate need in the middle for NO, is a home-town boy, and is the favorite amongst the fans. Clamorous cheering in the Superdome.

Dorsey to the Saints is like heaven (bad pun). Smith and Grant on the outside, Dorsey on the inside. That's a fine DL. If Gay pans out they may get out of the cellar for defense.

I'm predicting McKelvin to the Bills

I'm predicting McKelvin to the Bills

I was just looking at this and thinking that Buffalo might have one of those "hinge picks" that change the thinking of many of those coming up (similar needs, etc). McKelvin/ Rivers would be the safe picks, but Buffalo hasn't been known for make the "safe" choice this decade.

I hate the Rodgers-Cromartie pick. He's not his cousin. He's over-rated and his ego is bigger than his abilities.. He actually makes Hobbs look humble.

You shouldn't be surprised. Last year the same guy drafted for the Pats, and their first three picks were Marshawn Lynch, Marcus McCauley, and Marvin White. I'm actually surprised they let him draft the Patriots again. He drafts his favorite college players for his favorite NFL team, without regard of how they fit in or what value they provide there.

That is kinda messed up that the same person got to pick for the Pats again, but he made himself commish so he can do what he wants I guess.

I took Keith Rivers for the Bills.

Really dryheat? Want to go back and look at the context of those selections?

If you don't like it, I suggest you sign up for the Patriots next time.

Because a mock draft on a forum made for fun is succcch a big deal  get a life dude.

Also I have a user(name).

Just curious to why you picked Otah over Clady?

They need a mauling right tackle and Otah is a better fit than Clady on this point.

Really? You're gonna complain bakes? I SPECIFICALLY asked if anyone else wanted the Pats, also I didn't assign myself the Pats, I chose them in the thread that Gomezcat started.

How many rounds are we doing? I want to know before I start researching Billy-Bob Nobody from Back-of-Beyond State...

Guys, chill out eh? It's a mock draft.

Did you take Rivers to put next to Pos?

Also, did you consider taking a CB at all?

Yes and yes.

I considered a CB but I'm not big on taking a corner this high in the draft because of a) the restrictions on d-backs and b) there is depth at this position at this draft.

I almost took Derrick Harvey since the Bills were near the bottom of the league in sacks last year, and that would be a good way to offset their needs at d-back. But Rivers was the guy I wanted.

Pos, Rivers and Ellison would be a formidable trio of linebackers in Buffalo. I was rather hoping McKelvin would drop to me at #16 but he's gone now.

The Bills already have Kelsay and Schoebel. Adding Harvey just puts him on the bench a third of the time so I can understand adding Rivers. That puts Ellison (a lesser player) on the bench.
