"Lucky!"

its the indystar!. Do you expect them to have anything good to say about the Pats? Based on my visits there, everything the Pats do is from luck, cheating, league conspiracy, bad referees, excessive whining, dirty players, Brady's gay, blah, blah, blah.....

It is just a small town rag paper, trying to elevate it's beloved team into elite status by putting down the current dynasty that is always getting the better of them.

I think it was Jonathan Kraft I heard speaking about that draft, and apparently Belichik was very high on Brady. BB kept making comments to the effect of "something's wrong, he should be higher than this" and apparently had his name in his hand, and was ready to take Brady in the 5th round. Also keep in mind the Pats had just re-signed Bledsoe, and had John Friesz and Michael Bishop - there was no need for the Pats to take a QB at that point.

BB and Pioli saw something they liked; the selection of Brady was not "luck".

all recent articles considered on the pats, this one wasnt that insulting. i dont think the guy deserves his phone number out there.

Why would you post the link????

People click on it, he gets more hits, he gets more money, and he laughs at you for posting his junk.

Sorry, I will not be contacting him or cliking on his link.

Why in the freaking world would I.

And why would you expect anything else from an Indianapolis website?

That would be the same as Colts fans getting mad at any slight they may get from a boston paper.

Speaking of luck ... Indianapolis was "lucky" that the Baltimore Colts had a money grubbing owner, Robert Irsay. Otherwise Indianapolis would never have been considered for an NFL franchise and would never have won a Super Bowl ... never would have drafted Peyton Manning .... and never would have become the New England Patriots stepchild.

And Bob Kravitz is lucky too. Without luck Bob would have been writing exclusively about high school sports. How's that for luck.

The proof you didn't even read the article ...look at the end of the article , they are posted in the original link story . Open your eyes.

I emailed him this:

Dear Bob:

Is coming back to beat an injury ridden flu stricken team lucky?
Most people would say yes ... how about you Bob?

I thought I read on this site that it was supposed to be a flip of a coin between Brady and Tim Rattay. I know in Patriot Reign, Belichick was mentioned as high on both.....

Bill Belichick agrees with Kravitz:

"I'm really lucky to coach this team." -- Bill Belichick, accepting the Lamar Hunt trophy two weeks ago :D

Seriously, I guess Kravitz also thinks Dungy is lucky as well. Since he didn't do any better coaching pre-Colts/Manning than Belichick did pre-Pats/Brady.

At least BB drafted Brady.

Dungy was "lucky" to inherit a team with Manning and Harrison on it.
