A 5-11 team starting 0-2 was a playoff contender???

Please, learn the game before you post!

Brady entered in game 2, so he lost the 2nd one.

Practice what you preech because I just noticed you had some facts wrong in a thread on the main board.

But at least you were successful and avoiding the topic here.

Brady played the last series in game 2 when Drew finally left injured.
Bledsoe had lost the game with his INT. Just like Beck!

Ahh because I don't know the specifics of a week 2 game between the Pats and Jets means I need to learn the game, got it.

Tell me, what was the result of the last 3 Dolphin playoff games?

The Beck era continues. Three (3) picks against the pathetic 2 win Jets. After 3 games ZERO TD passes. The guy is pathetic. You'd think with 'offensive genius' Cam the Phins would do SOME scoring, but NOoooo! And what about the great Ted Ginn? Uh-oh. Three BIG catches for 20 something yards. Whoop-de-do! Tearing up the league they are! Wes Welker was right about the lphins.

Can anyone in this forum remember a poster more consistently wrong than WaterBoy attempting to post about football? That Finhaven VIP crew must have a total football IQ under 3 digits.
the funny thing about aquasack is the more hes wrong .the more he thinks he knows about football.he displays all the tell tail signs of a serious mental problem .

If a tree falls in the middle of the forest and is not heard by a single human..........

Who cares? Did any of them result in a SB Championship?

You don't understand the discussion so you're really not in any place to comment. He was on me for not knowing my Patriots history but at the same time he was trying to make "funny" comments about the Dolphins history but he was also wrong.

As for who cares, making the playoffs is a little different from picking first in the draft. Winning a Super Bowl isn't the only way to have a successful season. Tell the Browns they have to win a Super Bowl for this year to be a success.

Don't extend the measurement beyond what we're talking about. And wins are a completely different idea. Beck is playin for a team that is on its 5th string running back and safety and is the worst team this season while Brady joined a team that was a playoff contender.

Anyone can evaluate a player off of numbers the way you do, it doesn't make you smarter then anyone.

How does a 5-11 team suddenly become a playoff contender the next season?

1-2
The most recent ending against the Ravens in 2001. I remeber because I wanted Elvis to win to spite the Ravens fans.
Before that a shut out loss to the Raiders...
...because, Wanny had run the legs off his starting running back in the OT win over the Colts the week before.

Good research, that's correct.

Do you know the name of the running back that ran the rock 40 times for 200+ yards and a game winning TD in OT? And don't use google this time.

By the way, there was also a certain kicker notorious for choking that blew yet another one for the Colts.

Lamar Smith had two hundred yards. It's not like anyone could watch that game.

I actually only had to look up the Raider game. I had forgotten the score.

Edit: Everyone hates Mike Vandershank.

What do you mean it's not like anyone could watch the game?

Here's another trivia question. Which key cog in the Miami offense missed the playoff game against the Ravens following the 2001 season?

Yep, Vanderchoke is a unanimous douchebag.

That play-off game against the the Colts was blacked out. The last Play-off game to be blacked out. Indy might have gotten it, but thats all.

...you CAN'T mean Chris Chambers.

Ah, yes "Moral Victories". That's for the little people. :D

It's all about how one defines "success", I guess.

Hmm. I saw the game out here in Washington. Are you sure, the stadium was buzzing that day, I've never seen it louder then when Lamar scored.

And yes, Chambers missed the only playoff game he ever went to with an injury. (His rookie year.)

I just think more then one group (or person for that matter) can be successful in the same field. But there are still different strokes for different teams. If the Pats don't win the Super Bowl it would be a monumental dispointment but if the Browns make the playoffs, that's a pretty good season.

Is that spelled correctly?

I thought it was the "Beck Error"

I'm astounded at how quickly 2nd round wasted pick Beck is making fans long for Cleo Lemon. Amazing because we were told time and again ad nauseum that Cam knew offenses and knew how to develop young QBs. And we were told that Trent Green was an excellent mentor and perfect to develop young QBs. Oh wait, I see my fallacy now. Beck is going on 27. He's not a young QB.

I'm sad that this thread only has a few more games to run. I'll miss updating it.

Feel free to update it next year when Beck is working the drive through at Burger King..............

Fred Smerlas wah hilarious on the Twin Rivers NE Tailgate show immitating Beck's throwing motion. Really trashed the guy. Fred likes Buffalo's Edwards though. :)
