If you wanted to say Neely was the best 2way right winger to ever play. You have a case

neely was the best 'power forward' of all time.......he really defined the position at his time.......if he had a full, healthy career he'd be right up there with the all-times, but his combination of physicality & scoring ability was just another level

so i look at neely not as a "RW" - honestly RW/LW are just wings imho......neely was just a power forward vs a finesse type guy.....

I don t think the MR of a cities athletes has to be a representateive of each sport. In this case it just worked out that way. Even tier 2 which ironically could be easily; Bird, Bourque, Hannah and Yaz represent each of the 4 sports.

I wonder how many cities with 4 sports have a athlete MR with 4 people from each of the 4 sports. I dont think its that common if you are truly picking the best of the best etc.

Also, I did not have Chara/Boston Mount Rushmore on my bingo card. So that's a sneaky fastball I never would have seen.

As far as me calling anyone a dunce I usually reserve that for posters who are particularly condescending, nasty, or insulting to anyone who disagrees with them (sound familiar?). I have argued with many posters on here who in the end of the day I still respect their opinions and even sometimes see where they are coming from like Robert Weathers, Section 102, and Bill Lee. Yes, sometimes the back and forth may get a little contentious but both sides move on and may even agree on different topics in other threads. Your level of vitriol for people who simply post their own opinion on a website that is designed explicitly for that exact reason is often times over the top.

Also, how much money have you donated to this site?

Not sure what this has to do with anything but not a penny. Does giving a donation give you a free pass to call "c*nt lips" and some of the other vile insults you have hurled at fellow Patriots fans? I think that is a pretty cool twist on this thread with Boston's Mt Rushmore vs other cities. I don't know enough about some of the other cities historic athletes like I do Boston but your lists looks pretty solid.

NY is right there. I am sure there's some old timers that will talk about Frank Gifford and YA Title. There's enough Yankees to fill a Rushmore alone. I love Ted Williams, and all he accomplished in the sport and outside, but Babe Ruth transcended baseball like no one we've seen. Maybe Muhammad Ali comes close, maybe Ali is bigger. I'd like to laugh at the Knicks, but they've got Willis Reed, Walt Frazier, maybe Dave Debusschere. Rangers I think it's Messier and everyone else.
