Instead he takes the money, goes to Indy, and is booed by the fans only 2 years in. His Indy legacy will be nothing but some has-been they signed the year they won the Super Bowl who never played a significant role in their success.

His legacy in New England, while still being a hero, ultimately has become a traitor who left the team for money and won a ring with the Colts the very next year. Still beloved, but I always get a sick feeling in my stomach now.
