M. Harrison Does Not Practice - Downgraded to Doubtful

Apparently Moorehead didn't practice either (team decision).

How long has M.Harrison been out anyways?I doubt its a
bruised knee could be an MCL of the not to bad variety.

Well BB has been doing this for years....so I guess if he plays in this game a fair amount....this will be called "gamesmanship". Brady is on the IR every week as probable for Rt shoulder........it is kind of laughable right now.....Either way, M. Harrison will not be at full strength/speed....and I think dungheap has to think very carefully as to whether he wants to jeapordize his health further by playing him in this game.......

I was being ironic about St. Tony

I said before in other posts that the mighty awesome Colts Offense is wearing down. If you simply look at points scored stats over a reasonable sample of half a season, it simply doesn't compare to the glory year of 49 TDs.

Back then Harrison was in his HOF prime rather than an old guy trying to recapture his youth while he breaks down with injuries. Harrison is as old a Troy Brown. Is Troy what he once was?

Wayne is in his prime but Stokely, their Wes Welker, is gone and Gonzalez is talented but still a rookie, nonetheless. TE Clark has matured into a threat but only when he can draw off coverage with Wayne and Harrison drawing the main interest. Last year we wanted TE Watson to be the third go to receiver, it didn't work all that well with Reche and Jabbar as the other two.

The Colts appear to have improved the front line of their secondary. At least while the starters are not dinged, as the depth has disappeared. There may be weaknesses in the nickle an dime packages. Their LBs are fast but not very good, and the DL is vastly undersized and still built to play down hill, with a big lead, when when the opposition is passing every down to try to play catchup.

The Cowboys, Redskins and Chargers are teams that we have played that all have superior Defenses, even as they possess other warts. Now the Cards and Bengals have better Offenses, not even to mention the Pats O.

Still home field is an great advantage to a good club; I still expect a comfortable victory margin.
Some comments are just hard to understand. Sure, the 49 TD season was great, and we scored a bunch of points and all. Manning did only have 30(31?) TD passes last season, not sure how they ever WON THE FRIGGIN' SUPERBOWL:rolleyes:

I guess 30+ppg sucks too, eh?

OOhhh. ..

Touched a sensitive nerve, did I? :eek::eek:

I have to think if he's doubtful he won't play. I also have to think there is more there than a bruised knee. He's pretty much been out with "it" for a while now. But, you gotta play with who ya got.

yesss. another excuse for when we win "we didnt have Marvin"

Samuel on Wayne

Hobbs on Gonzy

simple.

Samuel > Harrison
Harrison > Wayne

therefore

Yeah, I start to twitch when in the presence of stupidity.

I think that you might be right. He didn't look like the old Marvin Harrison last week against Carolina. I still think that he will play, but they will limit his snaps.

Then you must have epileptic seizures when you see your own reflection in a mirror....;)

I want him to play. I want them to list him as doubtful for the rest of the week, and then I want him to play. And then I want the Pats to go about their business in kicking the Colts ASS on their homefield, which they will, either way.

Reiss's version of the injury report lists Marvin as "Team Decision". This is supposed to mean that he doesn't have an injury, the team just decided to keep him out of practice.

If so, we should EXPECT to see him on Sunday.

Absolutely. If Reiss is right about the "team decision" then Harrison had darned well better be available to play, otherwise the injury report is bogus.

There is a HUGE difference between "Brady (arm - probable)" and "Harrison (doubtful then PLAYS)" - the idea of Belichick playing a bunch of guys who've been questionable/doubtful is WAY overblown, as everything with him (good and bad, mostly the bad) is.

I don't buy it... we all know how tricksy that Gollum can be...

I'll believe it when I see the inactives on Sunday.

Marvin plays, the Patriots roll regardless.

He's a pimple on the ass of progress.

Gamesmanship, boys.....it's all about gamesmanship. And the games have begun.

I find this interesting after Samuel not practicing due to "team decision"

I think Harrison is legitimately injured, I think it will be a problem down the stretch, and I think he'll play this week.

I don't see them moving Samuel even if Harrison doesn't play. Keep Samuel on the lesser WR in the same position almost ensures an INT when Samuel jumps the route like he does.

Just my thoughts... It could well be why there's been all the talk on the Colts side of this game not being all that important. Typically the Colts pump up the importance of their big games. (Which seems contrary to logic, but I think that's how they roll.)

LB Freddy Keiaho (ear)

The guy has post-concussion syndrome. He needs a neurologist and they are sending him to an ENT.

OT Tony Ugoh (neck)

It was a shoulder injury last week. They better treat this guy before it reaches his brain.

Snake your signature is awesome.

I wish Marvin Harrison was playing.. this will be an excuse for Colts fans and the media. But oh well. He'll be playing in the AFCG if the colts make it that far.
