Mexico City is a sewer! LA has better air quality. Plus the narco crime. Did you see the halo of smog over the stadium? Plus the turf was terrible. Players eventually had to go to the longest pikes they could find.

Why expose your players/fans/refs/etc to these elements?

The Cowboys have already cornered the Mexican market, let them play down there.

First of all: Soccer and Football fields are very different.

Tom Brady Would Like To See Patriots Ditch Turf, Switch Back To Natural Grass

Second they won't live there, they will play one game and go back to the perfect life without any crime and incredible air quality. Mexico and USA authorities won't allow criminals near them, and the fans that not feel safe can stay home. They need the money and publicity because the ratings are low and if you want to keep the best talent in the sport you need other markets to help pay the bill.

laser pointers, refs probably fearing for their lives with bad calls vs home team, barbed wire fences to separate crowd from field.... noooooo thanks

Mexico city has a lot of Patriots fans it would be a 50/50 Raiders and Pats fan showing and from those of you who have actually been there know damn well it is far from a "sewer". Rich in tradition, culture, and the people are very respectful. Cartels give Mexico a bad rap but that's only in the "pueblos" or small towns.

If Denver is Mile High, Mexico City is literally almost exactly Mile And A Half high.

No thanks especially because of the stupid laser pointers.

They should pick teams close to Mexico to play in Mexico. And teams close to Europe to play in Europe.

Since no team is close to Europe, they can cancel those games.

And send the Cowboys, Texans, Cardinals and Charges to play in Mexico.

"USA Authorites" can't do squat in Mexico, other than get ambushed and killed like the ICE agents a few years ago. Mexican authorities can be purchased for less than what you have in your wallet right now. The country is a sewer! Literally, raw sewerage in the streets, any team that goes there would have to bring enough food and water for the entire trip. Why bother with all that? Granted Oakland doesn't sell out, but I'm sure the influx of Pat's fans would make it a sell out in Oakland.

If you really want to appease the Mexican fans, put a team in San Antonio. Of course, Jerrah and the Texans would never allow that.

From Hillary's State Department..

Mexico Travel Warning

The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens about the risk of traveling to certain places in Mexico due to threats to safety and security posed by organized criminal groups in the country. U.S. citizens have been the victims of violent crimes, such as homicide, kidnapping, carjacking, and robbery by organized criminal groups in various Mexican states.

Goodell will probably be in the crowd with his laser pointer for Tom Brady.
He'll be too busy playing with his [ object thrown on to the field in BUF ] to attend.

There is some precedent, the Jets brought their own toilet paper to London! :D

They were adding a growth hormone to their cows and I forget what it is something like cobuteral? But it resulted in a positive drug test for a NFL player. So the Texans told there guys, no beef in Mexico

Boooooooo! Pats come out to Oakland once every 6 years. Now I might have to wait 12?

Regards,
Chris

Me ? Lol... Talking about air pollution and sewers, the team will stay there less than a day. Go help build the wall...

You can't just go there for the day! First off, they want them there all week for the publicity, secondly, none of the players would be able to finish the game, at that altitude, without first becoming semi-acclimated to it first.

WRONG

One approach is to compete within 24 hours of arrival at altitude. Not much acclimatization will have taken place but most of the classical symptoms of altitude sickness will not have had time to manifest. After the intial 24 hours, dehydration and sleep disturbances become more prominent.

Did you ever heard about Potosi (13.448ft).. Soccer clubs play there all the time. Nobody ever died.

Sir, the real reason please.

They'll be playing there again soon enough against the Mexico City Chargers.
