LOL. Seriously tho, I do hope this kid succeeds. It's nice when BB hits a homerun. He seems very fast after the catch. Something, I think would have helped us with Lafell. I'm not a X and O guy, so I don't know Lafells stats, but his YAC didn't really blow away in the eye test. And we all know how the Dobson and Boyce saga worked out.

He seems to do well once he gets the ball in his hands but how is he at getting separation?

Probably above average. He seems decent running routes but not elite burst or excellent breaking through bump and run. He's a smart guy who will excel vs zone and a solid #2 hopefully in the long term.

I seemed to recall he had trouble with elite SEC Corners in college but not necessarily a knock.

Mitchell is basically Hogan's backup, and he performed well today. If he keeps it up, BB's meritocracy will by definition give him the chance to earn more game reps. For now, I like NE's WR's depth chart as it is.

He's got great arm length for his size. 32 5/8'', which is 65th percentile among WRs, while his height is only 29th percentile. On top of that he's got insanely big hands. 10 1/2'', 97th percentile! With those arms he's got a similar wingspan to the 6'3'' Brandon LaFell (who's got a 32 3/4'' arm length).

Well regardless after Mitchell caught the ball he boot on jet boosters and just blew by everyone. he looked like the fastest guy out there.
